Rumor mill is absolutely buzzing on pump fun and the memecoin extraction cabal all weekend long.
Here’s what we know, what we assume, and allow me to clarify and give my current understanding of the situation currently unfolding:
At a high level, memecoin trading is a high-volume, low-time preference gambling platform for entertainment.
By no means is it an investment.
So, the issue of manipulation is fully on display. People have “gamed” the system and it’s all traced onchain.
How has this happened?
Well, according to our sources and verifiable onchain data, there’s cohort of smaller new accounts that are the big issue. You know the names and some you’ve not heard of unless you’re deep in the proverbial “trenches” (read: casino)
The incentives are aligned to keep gamblers coming back, losing money, so the insiders win. These anons who run bundlers and have a following of “meme traders” & gamblers will milk their audience hard.
Buy on side wallets, shill on main account and show the position as public with screenshots of your position on main, tracked wallet.
Now, with regards to Sahil’s X page…
Contrary to what he’s showing to the public, the story is much deeper and less focused on a single person or small group.
There’s all sorts of ground to cover on a different post, but the bigger, doxxed names are moreso “caught” by association by with a lot of other fraudsters though.
A small cabal has been formed around onchain extraction with pump fun launches that will lead to real consequences, as the industry turns to a more regulated period.
It’s a mess. I’m staying away and think pump team and fomo team will make a real shift in their strategy regardless as a result of the optics of paying people excessive fees to promote useless memecoins, and pivot towards more of a tokenization + legit finance app (and fomo will likely win this).
I have zero vested interest in either but see the path for fomo. Pump statement will likely come, but it’s been crickets from their comms side.
Not a great look.
That’s my honest take & I’m signing off. Have a great weekend lads
The most overrated cities in the US (according to me)
1. Brooklyn, NY
2. Los Angeles, CA
3. San Francisco, CA
4. Houston, TX
5. Atlanta, GA

Peter Thiel’s bets are just too unique.
A few months ago, Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund led a $220 million investment in Halter at a $2 billion valuation.
Halter is a New Zealand startup that has essentially made physical fences unnecessary for cattle farming.
It puts solar-powered, GPS-enabled collars on cows, allowing farmers to create invisible fences, move entire herds from their phones, and monitor animal health in real time.
As a cow nears a boundary, speakers on one side of the collar emit a tone that grows faster as she gets closer, telling her which way to turn. A gentle vibration confirms when she is moving in the right direction. Only if she ignores both does the collar deliver a mild electric pulse, weaker than a standard electric fence.
After about a week of training, cows respond to sound alone.
In effect, Halter has turned one of the oldest forms of physical labour into something that can be managed through software.

it’s crazy how the Silicon Valley finale ended with AI discovering a math breakthrough that could break up the world’s encryption.
in the show, the AI wasn’t even trying to break encryption. it just stumbled upon the discovery while recursively improving Pied Piper’s compression algorithm and itself, without any engineers guiding the process.
now 7 years later, with OpenAI’s math and Anthropic’s cryptanalysis progress, watching that ending hits a little different.
man this show was really ahead of its time, not talking about it “predicting” anything but just the sheer range of things its writers could imagine back then.
is there nothing sacred

🚨 BREAKING: A flaw in APT, the tool that installs software on Debian Linux, lets an attacker on the network tamper with a package after it passes verification and run code as root.
The bug, CVE-2026-109518, sits in resumed HTTP downloads. APT can merge two different downloads when a redirect gives them the same address, and a man-in-the-middle can then alter the file after its check.
Debian fixed it in apt 3.0.4, shipped to Debian 13 security updates on 4 November. Users should upgrade now.
Per Debian's changelog, the fix is four words long. "Open target files exclusively."
