Reactionary politicians, like reactionary educators, tend to conceive of their jobs in negative terms: not doing what the libs are doing. But too little concern for what is good and true. It's a sickness on the new right. And in classical and homeschool education.
No ruler who owns the libs ever makes errors. It is when his knowledge fails him that he makes an error, accidentally helping the libs. But a ruler, at the moment he is owning the libs, is a ruler in the precise sense.

It’s interesting how many people in low-stakes internet disagreements will go straight for the jugular and talk about how bad of a teacher I must be, how they feel bad for my students etc. They certainly know which buttons to press, but it’s weird. A kind of cowardice.

Stoked that @allthesmokeprod hosted Molitor. Growing up, Andy Van Slyke was my favorite player. I thought Mike Piazza had the prettiest swing. But as a player, I tried to imitate Molitor's compact swing the most.
There's a Codevilla-Burnham flavor to Governor DeSantis that will make him loved more and more by the America First/populist right and which will make freedom conservatives groan more and more with time.
