I couldn't think of a worse idea than trading away Josh Allen's blind side protector under normal circumstances, let alone one where they don't have another LT even remotely comparable. If they get to the SB it will mostly be because of the offense. What is going on here?

If it needs to be said this is a massive Tyrel Shavers fan account. IMO, if he plays like he did last year, he's instantly WR4 on this roster if not better. This is just more about timing/logistics of the rule.

For me on Shavers it's the timing of it. They have 21 days to add him to the roster or they have to end his season. Barring an injury at WR, there's not really a spot. Last season they held Samuel on IR for a free roster spot until they needed him (Round 2 playoffs)
