NEW: JPMorgan Asset Management puts bitcoin at the top of its 10 to 15 year return forecasts. It is the first time bitcoin has appeared in the bank's Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions, a report now in its 31st edition that institutional allocators build their models around. JPMorgan projects 10% a year for bitcoin, ahead of REITs at 8.2%, U.S. large caps at 7.5% and gold at 5.5%. The catch: it assumes 55% annualized volatility, so holders earn that return the hard way.

NEW: Louisiana's state employee pension fund keeps adding Strategy. LASERS bought 1,700 MSTR shares in Q3, its third straight quarter of buying, for 23,000 shares worth $3.52 million on Sept. 30, per its 13F. The stake was worth $1.85 million at the end of June, and most of that jump came from the share price, not new buying. It is still under 0.02% of a portfolio above $20 billion. Small, but it shows the path public pensions are taking to bitcoin: a listed stock, with no keys to custody.

CHAMATH SAYS BITCOIN WILL EVENTUALLY BE HACKED AND GO TO ZERO Speaking on the Moonshots podcast, billionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya warned that advances in AI could eventually break Bitcoin’s cryptography. He argues that the community is too divided to coordinate a transition to quantum-resistant security. “I just think it’s capped, and then I think eventually it gets hacked, and then it goes to zero.”

Bitcoin: Helping ordinary people escape the perils of the K-Shaped economy since the GFC
The forever K is here... 1. Food banks have record demand. Michelin tables have never been harder to book. 2. Robotaxis and AI made chauffeurs and assistants almost free. So status moved to what software can't make: a $180M Van Gogh hits Sotheby's next month. 3. Ten stocks are 40% of the S&P 500. The other 490 are along for the ride. 4. Homes under $1M are a buyer's market. Over $5M, it's a seller's market. 5. Delta now makes more from the front of the plane than the back. 6. Spirit is dead. Private jet flights just hit an all-time high. 7. Hotels are either Motel 6 or the Four Seasons. Marriott is the new Motel 6. 8. Subprime auto delinquencies are at a record. Porsche wants to be Ferrari. 9. Applebee's is running ads saying it's cheaper than McDonald's. 10. Chipotle gave up on everyone under $100K and kept the $20 burrito crowd.
