New video about Bitcoin in El Salvador by @JoeNakamoto titled
”Bitcoin is Dead in El Salvador”.
High time preference slop.
Appreciate your investigative journalism, less so, the clickbait journalism.
Attached is a clip from today at the inauguration of the new Bitcoin Zone in Rigoberto Orellana.
Bitcoin Country is Alive.
The question whether Bitcoin is dead in El Salvador can not be seriously answered without mentioning:
- National Bitcoin Education Program
- State sponsored Bitcoin Conference
- National Bitcoin Treasury
- Bitcoin Law
- Bitcoin Zones
Etc.
It’s worth mentioning and emphasizing that you do criticize other countries and their bitcoin progress aswell. However, no other country gets as much coverage from you as El Salvador. And so naturally, many of us who are busting our asses to maintain functional bitcoin circular economies and the likes get triggered by this clickbait.

GM,
The future won’t be built by men waiting for permission.
It's built by men who get their hands dirty, take the hits, and keep working when nobody's watching.
History remembers the builders, not spectators who explained why it couldn’t be done.
Let's build!!

Wow, I got blocked for this comment.
I bought a cold card trusting @BTCsessions (as the saying goes, don’t trust, verify). However, it is alarming how many of these people will block you unless you worship them, their word, and whatever product they’re selling.
Disappointing. @BTCsessions

Been cleaning up in Fuerteventura for almost 6 months, I couldn't have done it with out the Nostr community. Every single cleanup posted on nostr has received at least one zap so far. 🧡⚡💜
Hey guys, all you needed to do is open nostr, reply GM to a stranger, zap a note 21 sats and post a note. You can do this every day. The cost, in time and money is ridiculous, but you'll have a good habit set. One day, one deed. You'll be helping cleanup projects like mine. 🙏🧡

Come to nostr bro, help me create an economic incentive to go ulout and perform good deeds on the real world, for a reward in sats on the internet. 🧡⚡💜
At #satsfortrash, me and anyone can share a litter picking session as a note on nostr and receive bitcoin instantly in exchange for the work performed in the real world. Isn't it beautiful?
The amount of sats can still be small but currently 99% of the notes have been zapped.
Bitcoin, nostr and LN... Together, they make it possible for good deeds to be shared and rewarded economically, instantly, and directly. 🧡⚡💜

A hard fought 2nd place finish for Azonwabe Matyeke in the U16 Boys Round 2 at the SA Junior Champs 🙌 Conditions were tough with howling onshore wind but he dug deep, scored 7.23 and made it through to the next round. That's heart right there 💛
Day 3 kicks off today at 7AM — best of luck to all our athletes! 🤙🏄🏿♂️
