once you use wabi, it feels crazy that group chats and agents were ever separate.
life happens in group chats, but they're terrible at getting things done.
agents are great at getting things done, but they're single-player.
that makes no sense.
that’s why @wabi is the AI assistant you use together.
it notices things, suggests what to do, gets stuff done, and even makes apps when it helps.
for me, it’s meant less time coordinating and more time connecting.
now open to everyone. try it with your friends and family: wabi.ai/get

Personal AI assistants like Muse and Instinct rely on a single chat thread for multiple projects and goals. New agent @wabi gives users multiple chats they can share with friends and an app-builder to boot. @ekuyda on @EquityPod about why this is a better UI.

Been using @wabi for a while now, and finally, an agent that:
a) understands that most things are coordinated between multiple 'humans' (family, friends, etc.)
b) doesn't put every single project in a single convo/river
c) doesn't always flood you with text but shows fun pages!
Great job @ekuyda & team!

wabi is a game change for any group coordination
make the plan without all the planning
wabi notices the trip.
starts a countdown
builds an itinerary app
polls the group with fun options
books what everyone picks.
less coordinating. more connecting.

once you start using it, you’ll realize how much time and effort the coordination takes. let wabi handle it

Wabi is the first personal agent I’ve used that actually feels like an operating system for life—not another chat window.
I’ve been testing it for a few weeks. It did essentially everything I described in that earlier suggestion about “Projects” for Muse: keep the main conversation excellent, then fork any thread into organized, visual mini-apps that live where they belong, with everything that topic produces staying inside it. No digging through one endless dump. No side-chat list that becomes the same outdated pattern every LLM uses.
You talk about what’s in front of you. Wabi understands the topic, files it under the right place, and builds the interface you actually need—trackers, plans, calendars, maps, whatever the moment requires. You jump back to it anytime. It stays visual, organized, and friendlier.
This matters more than most people admit, especially if you’re a visual learner. Pure chat forces everything into a linear text stream. History, ongoing tasks, and context disappear into one scroll. Visual learners don’t just want to type; they need to see structure, relationships, and state. Wabi gives that: topic-based threads that function like projects, mini-apps that appear on demand, and a layout you can glance at and return to. The main thread doesn’t turn into a graveyard. The organization itself becomes the interface.
That’s the decisive layer for personal agency. Most agents still treat UI as an afterthought. The more capable the agent gets, the worse a pure chat experience becomes. People want to tap, scroll, look, and return to something that has shape. The most useful agent will combine conversation + action + software that appears when you need it.
We don’t lack technological capability. We lack taste and vision about how people should actually live with this. Jobs wasn’t an engineering genius; he was a genius of interface and of deciding what people should never have to think about. The agentic era will be decided the same way: whoever masters the agentic interface while keeping the human factor front and center wins. Not the one with the highest benchmark scores.
Wabi is the clearest demonstration I’ve seen so far that this future is buildable today—organized by the parts of life that matter, visual enough that it works for how many of us actually think, agentic, and still something you can glance at and use with other people. It gives time back instead of auctioning attention. The rest of the industry is still mostly stuck in the “chat is the product” era. This is the next layer.
I look forward to what the team at @wabi accomplishes next!

me and my partner were sharing like 4 different apps just to run our life
we tried muse and instinct but they only help one of us at a time
wabi lives in our chat, we both talk to it and it builds whatever we need right there
i think we just found the one

With every personal AI converging into the same features and functions, the only way to differentiate is the design and the founder
based on those two criteria, @wabi is the best one out.

staying on top of everything school-related is finally easy!
no more parsing emails that are too long or navigating school platforms that are impossibly outdated.
now, @wabi automatically notices all school emails and updates the shared calendar i have with my wife.
it also gives us a nice little summary on sundays to setup the week and makes us feel just a bit more on top of things.
try it out for yourself 👉 wabi.ai/try/school-calendar
planning a trip with mini apps is a 100x better experience than doing it over iMessage.
@ekuyda and the team really cooked here 🔥

"The real value is not just in how smart a model becomes, but in how well it fits into the way people already live, work and interact with each other. AI should not only help us work faster alone. It should also make collaboration easier."
I think one of the biggest opportunities in AI right now is making it useful beyond just the individual.
Most of our daily decisions involve other people. Planning a trip, organizing an event, working on a project or even deciding where to eat with friends. Yet most AI tools are still designed around one person asking questions and getting answers.
What makes @wabi interesting is the idea of bringing AI directly into those shared experiences. Instead of everyone doing their own research and bringing back different answers, the whole group can work with the same AI, compare options and move towards a decision together.
I think this is an important direction for AI. The real value is not just in how smart a model becomes, but in how well it fits into the way people already live, work and interact with each other.
AI should not only help us work faster alone. It should also make collaboration easier.
once you try it, it'll feel crazy that it was any other way. go from chatting about something to making it happen seamlessly, all in one place.
Wabi 2.0 is the first real step toward multiplayer personal software.
Most AI agents are still one person, one chat. The actual hard parts of life; family logistics, shared plans, group decisions need an agent that multiple people can talk to and that actually does the work for everyone.
This is the missing piece.
tech should help bring people together, not give us more reasons to spend time alone
agents are great at getting things done but solo and group chats are where your people are but terrible at getting things done
when combined seamlessly, it should help people connect more with less effort

Wabi CEO @ekuyda predicts the next big consumer AI platform will be multiplayer, not another personal AI agent:
"Today most AI products are single player, and you could argue they don’t have much of a moat. They don’t have switching costs. It was pretty easy to move between Claude and ChatGPT, but at least they had some memory about me."
"With these single player agents, it’s so easy to jump between them because all the context is in my Gmail."
"In a year, one of the biggest consumer AI platforms will be multiplayer and will have network effects in it. Right now we just sort of agree that single player is the way to go for most AI products."
"A year from now we’ll look back at it as the early innings, and the products that will win will have network effects and will be focused on you talking to other people, not just AI."
