People really do typecast DJs just like they do with sitcom actors/actresses. It might be good in some cases, if a DJ is in the exact lane they want to be in. But when they wanna break away and be known for something else…it can be tricky
DJs joke (not really) about the constant Bad Bunny requests we get and last night I got so many that I decided to do something about it 🙃 I was fed up
They were a bit reluctant but they came up. I was gonna cuss dem but by then my mood changed. Instead I explained to them that’s the worst thing you could do to a DJ and told them it looks like you tryna show us up. Better you come have a convo. Even tip. They had no clue.
I sent them on their way & told them go have fun. They didn’t make another request 😂 Ppl think that phone thing is a joke. It’s been popularized via social media. Most ppl don’t know DJ etiquette so if the opportunity presents itself DJs, take the time to educate #PlayBadBunny
