A big horror ROAR of congrats to @RealGDT on the 13 nominations for ‘The Shape of Water!' I know this is a culmination of your life’s passion and, as a fellow “Monster Kid,” it is a vindication for mine as well. #sayhorror (1 of 13)

@RealGDT When you’re up there accepting one of the many Oscars you’ll receive that night, please #sayhorror. One second for a genre to whom Hollywood owes so much, an acknowledgement that horror can be ART. (11 of 13)

@RealGDT I praise your unapologetic and public love for the monster movie and the horror film. I am so looking forward to following your journey as a highly visible curator and appreciator of horror and monster movies. #sayhorror (12 of 13)

@RealGDT While you change how the world regards horror, I’ll be over here podcasting and writing books about our mutual love. Please, @realGDT, #sayhorror on Oscar Night. Much love and respect, a fellow “Monster Kid” (13 of 13)
