Reality of chelsea fan base
The people who are already doubting Xabi Alonso are very funny. It tells me that if we sack him and hire Fabregas, they will turn on him after a few bad results, too.
Because they have no patience and think everything in football is plug and play. They all want quick fix.
He's too good not to figure out how to get the best out of this squad. But he needs time to reshape it.
to offense to Penders who was brilliant viz Liverpool, but is there a chance we can shock man utd by playing martinez.
Biggest question - how much is that several weeks.. bcz we cant afford to play that cockhead - fofana

βοΈ I really don't want to analyse much or try to convince people about Xabi Alonso because they will never get it as long as the results aren't favourable.
But personally, I have zero doubt about our future under Xabi Alonso as long as we don't panic. This is the time to close my eyes and believe in the project.
I keep asking myself why fans lose it after every defeat. Of course it hurts, but are we expecting to hire Guardiola as manager and expect him never to be beaten? Do you remember that Guardiola lost 4-2 to Leicester, 4-0 to Everton in his first season in the Premier League? We even beat him 3-1 at the Etihad and 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Why do we overreact without context? My answer is that it's because fans never prepare themselves for any defeat. They believe they will win every game. They live in that fantasy world that they turn up and win every game.
Then, there is a set of fans that will tell you that Alonso is clueless and want him gone. Really? Is there anyone better out there that will come and never lose a game?
Can't we calm down for once and believe in what we are doing. The project is now as clear as day. We now have experienced players, hired a top coach and had an encouraging summer. Another one or two windows of that level and set are really set.
So, what's the fuss all about? Just calm down, we will be fine. No need to panic.
No one is blaming, but u gotta question Xabi selection - why not play Estevao at least for pens? he is so good at it.
