-Hack: Hijack freight accounts and post fake loads
-Trap: Send malicious links to trucking companies
-Hijack: Use stolen accounts to secure real shipments
-Collect: Send unsuspecting drivers or fake-ID accomplices
-Divert: Reroute cargo and sometimes spoof GPS tracking
-Profit: Resell the stolen equipment
The cargo can leave the warehouse with a legitimate driver, making the theft look routine until the shipment disappears.
More than $100 MILLION in data center freight has reportedly been stolen across the U.S. since June.
