Eihu Lane between Alberni + Robson Streets is named after Hawaiian settler Eihu, one of the original settlers at Kanaka Ranch on the south shore of Coal Harbour. From 1840 on approximately 500 Hawaiian men moved here towork in the fur trade and lumber mills. #ThrowbackThursday
