I didn’t vote today, and I tell Christian’s not to vote. -There is no way to participate without moral compromise. You can’t vote for only the good a candidate would do, but also the bad they would do. -It weakens the Christian witness. -It causes people to think of those who voted differently as enemies. -It doesn’t actually do the things it claims to legally. -It also doesn’t do the things it claims to do morally. -It’s a fundamentally a pro force concept, that is antagonistic to people who want to approach the same problems with reason and persuasion. -It’s time consuming and distracting when Christian’s have more important things to be focused on. -It always leads to bad Christian ideologies like Christian Nationalism. -It is not anywhere commanded by Jesus or the apostles as a requirement. -It goes against the history of the early church before Constantine. -Voting is a support of the system that produces war and persecution. Real change comes when Gods people repent and obey, when the lost are converted, and when we all love our neighbors as ourselves.
