adding what I think is next cool idea to slop-cities... Navigate mode! - Turn by turn directions - Self-driving / Auto-pilot - Crazy Taxi Uncle mode (aggressive driving & rules breaking) Still some kinks to work out on this feature, but gotta head to bed zz85.github.io/slop-singapor…
okay 1st attempt with slop-singapore. zz85.github.io/slop-singapor… look and feel on the ground feels really strange, but at least the skyline have some resemblance. maybe @mrdoob or @cheeaun have ideas how to improve this

Slop is spreading around the globe!! I created a new repository to track which cities have been infected by @mrdoob’s #threejs New York AI slop Feel free to create PRs for more cities. -> github.com/zz85/slop-cities Some of favorites: Abuja, London, Toronto, Warsaw

I should have mentioned Singapore some of the favorites, oh well 😂 Berlin's pretty fun too, for the physics running over people...

I've been improving the original over the weekend too. ✅ Better looking vehicles ✅ Improved traffic simulation ✅ Improved car physics and collisions ✅ Improved car engine audio synth ✅ Improved street light and trees positioning ✅ Pedestrian (not very good) car avoidance ✅ Performance improvements ✅ Less police ✅ More honking

tested this out... went for a free helicopter ride over new york
Spent a bunch of tokens over the last few weeks building a fully procedural New York simulation. mrdoob.github.io/slop-newyor… It's only 784KB gzipped and the code is on github, so you can do whatever you want with it ✌️

really cool work! I gave it a go and almost works out of the box with three.js similar to three-gpu-pathtracer. comparatively it may have some kinks to be ironed out, but it's slightly faster. here's a render I did

#midiviz experiment 32 - your own concert pianist. Here's the full Chopin's Fantasy Impromptu performance generated with the browser and #threejs rendered in anime style (remember Nodame Cantabile?) To test or render your own: zz85.github.io/midiviz/032_p…

Recently I've learnt that Alkan composed this piano piece (Etude in A, without Opus) in the 19th century that resembles 8-bit music or Rush-E ahead of it's time so I added this midi and a 8-bit synth (square waves) to my midi piano visualizer (🔊) Link: zz85.github.io/midiviz/midiv…

in the screen capture, you can see toggling between a piano soundfont and the chiptune synthesizer, both pretty fun to listen to! if you're interested to know more, this youtube link would explain the music in more depth youtu.be/rQ81jzlR1y4?si=87KB…
