50/50 shot if storms fill the gap west of the cities. But there sure are a lot of storms in the region!
None of the CAMs seem to have a good handle on this evening tho especially with the current storms SW of the cities.
Tornado Watch issued for the Twin Cities. Considering the recent Convective Discussion from SPC suggested 40% chance of Watch issuance- things are escalating. Watch is in place til 9pm and INCLUDES the Twin Cities.
So whatās the play on all this āhave at least 3 days of survival suppliesā and others suggesting 90 days for military etc. seems like drumming up fear to get people to spend money. Short term stimulation to the economy and distract people? I have a decent amount of stuff already from a couple years back, but itās literally all Iām seeing on my feed.

Exceptional wind shear near the surface low in Minnesota today if something can stay discrete. Changing winds with height will help storms to rotate, and we can't rule out an isolated significant tornado.
The threat level for today has been raised. Increased storm coverage and also chances for tornadoes have gone up. Main risk timing is between 2-8pm. Expect storms to form pretty quickly if this scenario does verify. Thereās still a chance that it busts- but I think thatās the less likely scenario.
You donāt see this too often when approaching November- but we have a Severe Weather and Tornado Risk tomorrow in the Twin Cities. After some AM rains. It will be interesting to see how things shake out.
3:45pm- Thin blue/green line is the cold front approaching the metro. Temps will drop from the 70s back to the 50s thru the evening and then lower beyond that. Also some showers possible after the front pushes thru. You can also see the wind change as indicated by the wind barbs on the map.

Typhoons and mountains do not mix.
Watch as Champi is devoured by northern Taiwan
The eye is obliterated and the storm torn apart.
I didnāt post the graphic yesterday with the insults to whine or get attention. Itās important to demonstrate kindness and consider the mental health of everyone around you. Never know what someone is going through- so even though it may be fun (in some peopleās eyes) to abuse their local weather person, itās not ok. Try and do better.
All over a weather post that clearly stated the marginally thin chances of things actually ending up that way. Hereās some of the gems I have been called in the last 24 hours. Have people truly lost it? Yes.
š¤ Made with AI
In todayās news⦠AI controlling bank accounts. Massive stuff going on with Php and website vulnerabilities and now some issue with payment processing not being secure. If everyone starts pulling money out of the banks- big problems. Iām not financial analyst or guru but none of this sounds good. š«
I struggle with what to post on social media anymore- thatās of any value to people. If I just post what to expect for the day- you can kinda get that on any weather app or network. If I post a heads up with a million disclaimers of the likelihood or possibility of it not happening, people somehow fail to read that and fixate on things being a fact. Itās hard to keep everyone happy but seriously I donāt know what people want anymore. X has been tame for the most part, but my post absolutely is being torn up on Facebook and I just donāt get it. Everyoneās just so negative. Itās draining. Then people like Max Velocity have a million followers and very hype based headlines and somehow still get all the praise. No hate on him. Just saying. I donāt get it. š¤·š¼āāļø not sure what kind of weather people want anymore. Guess Iāll go back to mostly posting random BS and photos of my dog.
