Our family went through a terrifying scare when my youngest brother, who is only in his twenties, suffered a collapsed lung (pneumothorax) directly caused by vaping.
The toxic chemicals and intense inhalation pressure from e-cigarettes created a hole in his lung, causing it to flatten and trapping him in sudden, excruciating chest pain. It was devastating to see someone so young and otherwise healthy struggling just to take a single breath. I am sharing his story to warn others that vaping is absolutely not a safe alternative; please, talk to your loved ones and think twice before touching an e-cigarette.
