Hilly Solomon — a Jewish Israeli woman from Kfar Yona — was 26 when Hamas invaded Israel.
They shouted "allahu akbar."
They brought RPGS and AK-47s.
They wanted to kill women and children.
And they did.
Hilly — known as a dog lover and fashion designer — was at the Nova music fest. She could not escape. She was shot dead by Hamas.
A victim of Palestinian terrorism.
Dead age 26.
May Hilly's memory be a blessing. She was a noted dog lover who served in a canine unit during her IDF service.
Her mother, Maggy Solomon, told the Kan public broadcaster that Hilly was a girl “with so many dreams, boundless aspirations, belief in good with enormous willpower and insane joy for life.”
“Nobody could compete with her willpower, to reach achievements, to conquer every summit,” added Maggie.

Captain Shir Eilat, 20, an IDF officer and commander of observation soldiers in the Border Defense Corps’ 414th Unit at Nahal Oz, led with exceptional composure on October 7, 2023, as Hamas terrorists stormed the base. She directed forces in real time, activated defensive systems against the attackers, and put her soldiers’ safety and morale first until the end.
