Pfizer can use that guaranteed purchase order to justify investing IRAD dollars to develop a vaccine they’ll sell for $2B. I source suppliers under federal contracts and it works very similarly. Private and publicly traded companies won’t invest if there’s no money in it. 2/2
You must understand what a purchase order with a guarantee to buy a fixed amount of doses at a fixed price means for a company. Pfizer is guaranteed $2B upon the delivery of 100M doses. The option to exercise if they deliver represents even more. This has value for Pfizer. 1/2
How can you claim nobody said this?Congress literally established a special counsel that investigated the current administration for two years. When I say Congress, I mean largely Democrat Representatives and Senators. We need to be real with each other and not distort reality.
