Barcola 5 - Dreadful. Every time I watched him at PSG, he was electric, on fire, bright & inventive. Complete opposite. His saving grace is he’s adjusting. But for £100M you’ve got the finished article, you don’t wait, you don’t give time. You deliver, every time

Sbozoslai - 5. Awful. Like my fucking spelling of his name. Non event of a performance. Awful delivery from corners. Managed to hit the first defender 6 out of 9 corners which is impressive consistency.

Nyoni - 7 The lad comes out of this game with positive feedback. Another vital lesson in his education. Perhaps the only good thing of a dreadful night

Tsimikas- 5. Had an average game, didn’t cause many defensive errors (it’ll be his turn next, as this is what we did last year, share the pathetic examples of defending around) but not even championship level

Van Dijk - 5 His distribution was poor tonight. As the skipper he needs to get stuck into the lazy bastards who just don’t want to defend. We need to see it. He needs to start calling this shit out.

Jacquet - 5. His worst performance in a red shirt. The free kick is pub football stuff. The 3rd he should be clearing Nyoni, Mac Allister, the striker & the ball out of the 18 yr box. He’s a CB. You don’t get beat in the air, you don’t get bullied with a basic lob into the box

Gomez 6 - Actually no real issues. Exception when he was easily slalomed around in the 2nd half when he started to lose focus & concentration which he does after 50 straight mins.

Allison - 5 - worryingly poor performance. His kicking is worse than a one legged idiot. His decision making, especially with his feet is dangerous. The 3rd goal is a disaster from him. At a time when fans are starting to turn against him, he produces a dangerous performance.

I’m setting a disturbing trend. I’ve been defending (ironically better than the team) players who then go & have a fucking stinker as some kind of ‘fuck you’ what’s that all about? Kerkez recently, now Allison. Why are they doing this to me..?

There is little urgency in our defending, allow wingers time to turn, float a cross to wherever they want, back off wingers until we’re in the stands, don’t close down in or around the box, don’t sense the danger, don’t take ownership, accountability or responsibility.

I thought today that this match would be a good comparison to the game at Galatasaray regarding our overall progress. You know when the wheels fell off for the first time last year. Well after what I’ve just seen I don’t know what to say. Depressing.
