When did the support for Ukraine community become so toxic? When did fundraising become so toxic? I’m an OG fella. I’ve dedicated the last 4 1/2 years of my life, who up until then the only connection I had was my great aunt who married one of my grandfather’s brothers. For the past 3 years, I, along with many others, have been harassed, cyberstalked, and even stalked in real life, all by people who claim to support Ukraine but make countless posts smearing defenders and volunteers Almost three months ago, I was smeared by people who have never spoken to me or decided they disliked me because I refused to join their online cult despite making it clear I am only here to help defenders. I’ve never had any interest in joining the mean girls who use AI and go out of their way to destroy others. I solely want to fulfill my promise I made to my friend who was killed fighting for his country without being trashed. I only become defensive when I am criticized by people who do not know me or have even taken the time to get to know me. I don’t bother until I am bothered I was sacrificed and gaslighted by the organization I loved and am now completely isolated from people who claimed to be my friends The worst part is I’m not the only person this has happened to. Several others are in a similar position and it feels like there’s no way to fix it. We should not have leave the app and we absolutely should not have to stop supporting Ukraine because the toxic behavior some people have committed to I come back to when did the support community become so toxic? I’m here to support Ukraine and its defenders. With receipts and with one account, unlike others
