ALT An image of golden and green bamboo surrounding two figures. Standing in front, Shen Yuan bends into a deep backbend, his hands extended behind himself and his chin tilted back, fully trusting. Cradling him in one arm, Luo Binghe has one hand on Shen Yuan's chest, where a golden light is emerging along with the hilt of a blade. They are both caught mid-motion, hair and robes swirling about them. Text on the bottom left reads "We Are Not Wise, Collaboration by Boomchick and Suzoomie." On the right it reads "BingQiu Reverse Minibang"

ALT Ao3 Screenshot: Fortunate Captives by: Boomchick. Summary: So yes, Xie Lian has been captured by a cannibal ghost whose lackeys are going to dip him in hot oil, but none of that is as interesting as the child in the next cell over, who seems so cavalier about being devoured. (Hua Cheng has no idea who he's about to meet while in disguise to wreck Qi Rong's lair, and therefore has no way of knowing he should be on his best behavior...)

ALT An image of a computer screen with windows of green text on black backgrounds. A corner window on the right reads: "System Announcement. Preorders Now open! Here's a sneak peek!" with an excited kamoji. The main window is an excerpt form "Dog of the Altar". Text reads: "The dog splayed forward over its own folded legs, belly to the ground, forehead against the wood. It had no concept of shame, no memory of kowtowing for mercy. it was just as well; Mo Xi had no mercy to show it but this. "Speak." "Don' wanna," the dog complained raggedly behind its muzzled teeth. It couldn't open its outh, but it could still whine. Gu Mang always put Mo Xi in such difficult positions. he didn't know wheter to punish him or not. The refusal was obedience, in a way, but it was still a refusal. "Be good!" he snapped, the impatient waves betraying the ocean's boiling rage. End of excerpt.
