The glorification of Anakin Skywalker is what I dislike most about prequel fans and YouTubers like Star Wars Theory.
It's as if they completely failed to understand anything George Lucas was trying to convey in the Prequel Trilogy.
There is NOTHING good about what Anakin did.

They were written out because they’re fucking dumb
I seriously can't stand all the hate directed at 'Star Wars: Starfighter' right now.
This could get this franchise back on track. Doesn't matter if you like the Sequels and other Disney content - as a fan you should pray for this film.
Also, these budget discussions are absurd.

I keep seeing accounts reporting on this number and people losing their minds over it
But no one is reporting on the fact that Starfighter got a $51.5M tax credit, which puts its production budget on $175M
$226M is just what Disney spent. This info is on the same article btw
‘STAR WARS: STARFIGHTER’ reportedly has a current budget of $226M.

I'm really curious about it, because there hasn't really been any new interesting map content for Battlefront since IX. The only thing that comes to mind is Ghorman from Andor. They would have to bring back the old classic maps and just add new types of soldiers or something.
‘STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT 3’ is in the works.
Respawn and DICE are teaming up to develop the game.

Star Wars has been doing exceptionally well in every area for several years now, except for the movies.
I never thought this franchise would reach this point.
I know we say this every time, but next year's Celebration will be the most important one in the history of Star Wars.
Dave has to announce his film projects and carry them out. No one will believe any announcements anymore unless they move into the production phase.
It always amuses me when people pretend that TFA was a bad Star Wars movie.
VII was the best-received SW film since Return of the Jedi. It had great reviews, and the film generated increased interest in the franchise.
It was the best movie Disney could have ever dreamed of.
I'll add one more thing. I agree that TLJ was a turning point of sorts. However, it wasn't the movie itself that was the most important thing, but rather the extreme reactions of the fans. When talking to people in person, I've never heard anything about TLJ being THAT bad for SW
I partially understand the outrage and controversy surrounding the new Star Wars trilogy, but can we stop pretending that Jon Watts is a bad filmmaker? Looking back at the last decade, he always delivers. His projects are either of high quality or well-received by the audience.
The Last Jedi made worldwide $1,334,407,706 and $620,181,382 domestic in the Box Office. As long as you don't live at the North Pole, I guarantee there weren't any empty seats.
Waiting for more arguments, because there's nothing to suggest that this movie didn't do well.
Oh yeah, I miss those Mando Season 2 days...
Those 8 weeks felt almost magical.
I will never agree that TLJ killed Star Wars in any way.
The movie received an A- rating on CinemaScore. It was well reveived among critics. TROS did not suffer a drop at the box office that would indicate a decline in interest in the trilogy after VIII.
That's simply not true.
For now, this trilogy sounds like a huge risk and a big unknown.
I like Jon Watts. I enjoyed Skeleton Crew and his Spider-Man trilogy, but directing the first movie of a new Star Wars trilogy? I don't know.
I'm very worried about Simon Kinberg.
Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming trilogy, Skeleton Crew) will reportedly direct the first installment in Simon Kinberg’s new STAR WARS trilogy, rumored to be Episodes X-XII.

It's tough to judge Star Wars right now, because I genuinely like the vast majority of content created under Disney. I'm talking about production quality and storytelling. Again, not everything, but most of it. At the same time, I think the franchise is in bad shape overall.
I've never felt the need to watch a movie or show about Darth Vader and to be honest, I don't get why people want this so much. Basing a story on an antagonist who is 100% evil makes no sense. Also, it won't add or change anything in Anakin's story. We already know everything.
Seeing all the hate Filoni is getting for almost everything right now just shows that people wouldn't be ready for new Star Wars from George Lucas. Those are actually all his ideas.
The Mortis Gods are “definitely a thing” in Ahsoka Season 2, Dave Filoni confirms.
“What we’re dealing with is: are you going to believe in this, or not?” he tells Empire, teasing the Force deities. “What is the danger if it’s real?”
