This was me 3 years at COP28 in Dubai where 25 countries signed a global pledge to triple nuclear energy by 2050.
39 have now signed it including the US, China, Canada and UK, representing over 70% of global GDP.
Australia's Energy Minister Chris Bowen is President of Negotiations for COP31 which starts today in Turkey.
We have the most uranium in the world, meaning we're critical to global nuclear energy expansion plans.
Even if we still ban nuclear at home, if Australia supports other countries decarbonising with nuclear why don't we sign the pledge?

ONLY 1 IN 5 TRUST ALBO
After the $6m taxpayer-funded golf club grant in his backyard (and the sewage excuse that fell apart), his trust rating has hit a record low of 20%.
Still defending him?

They are not Australian citizens - “put them on a plane.”
One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has pulled no punches on News24, delivering a blistering condemnation of a brutal, politically motivated attack on a 60 year old party volunteer in Torquay, Victoria.
The volunteer remains in hospital with a brain bleed, badly bruised, and completely unrecognisable after confronting individuals destroying One Nation campaign signs in his front yard.
Despite the severity of the alleged assault, a 14 year old involved was released by police with just a caution, while a 37 year old man - both non citizens on New Zealand visas - remains on remand.
Hanson didn't hold back, taking direct aim at Australia's failing justice system and weak visa laws:
“This was a political attack, people in Victoria, and right across the country, have had an absolute gutful of this violent crime and the soft justice that follows it” she said
She continued “They are not Australian citizens, they are here on New Zealand visas, the 14 year old and the rest of that family need to be put on a plane and sent back, while the stepfather stays to face the full force of the law”
She goes on “We need proper, rigorous criminal and violence checks on visa holders, we cannot keep allowing people into our country who turn around and attack Australians on their own property”
Before adding “One Nation is the only political party that will stand its ground, say it straight, and completely stamp this out”
She’s not wrong.
Australians are sick to death of soft cautions for brutal attacks, weak borders, and even weaker consequences. When a citizen can be left with a brain bleed in their own front yard by foreign nationals over political signs, the system is fundamentally broken.
Deport them. Stop importing the problem.
Pauline Hanson is the only leader with the guts to say it straight.

The Bayeux Tapestry tells the story of the Norman Conquest of England in 1066. This illustration draws on its style to tell another story: the risks faced by those who expose wrongdoing, and the public interest they serve.
The idea of rewarding people who report breaches of the law reaches back much further. In AD 695, King Wihtred of Kent provided that a person who reported a freeman undertaking prohibited Sabbath labour could receive half the fine. More than five centuries before Magna Carta in 1215, the law already recognised a financial incentive for bringing unlawful conduct to light.
That early informer reward is a precursor often cited in the history of qui tam, the tradition of allowing individuals to bring proceedings on the government’s behalf and share in the recovery, later reflected in the United States’ False Claims Act.
In our 2014 chapter, “Because They Have Evidence: Globalizing Financial Incentives for Corporate Fraud Whistleblowers”, published in the International Handbook on Whistleblowing Research, my co-authors and I examined how financial incentives can help those with inside knowledge expose corporate fraud and protect public funds.
Accountability depends on evidence, and evidence often depends on someone willing to speak. Our laws should recognise that contribution, protect those who come forward and make exposing wrongdoing a practical choice, even when powerful interests would prefer silence.

The "Me Too" movement has destroyed so many lives.
They told us to believe all women.
Some women lie.
Some women falsely accuse men for revenge.
Some women falsely accuse men for their own gain.
I don't believe anyone solely because of their gender.

BREAKING: Anthony Albanese’s “digital duty of care bill”, is now even stricter than originally proposed, effectively destroying online free speech in Australia.
eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant just signaled that Labor’s upcoming Digital Duty of Care bill is going to be even stricter than first thought, threatening massive penalties that will effectively destroy the free speech online community in Australia.
Under the Albanese government, we are rapidly moving toward a reality where you can no longer criticize him or his administration.
This is an absolute outrage.
Look at what’s happening behind the scenes:
Moving the Goalposts: Grant is pushing to amend the bill at the last minute to add “enforceable baseline obligations” making the legislation far more aggressive than the original draft.
Tougher Penalties & Policing: Communications Minister Anika Wells is openly urging the Coalition to join them in making these online safety laws “even tougher”
Rushed Legislation: Labor is desperately racing to ram this heavily bolstered bill through parliament with only one sitting fortnight left in the year.
This isn't about safety anymore, its a reckless attack on your right to speak freely online.
Australians are being locked out of their own digital public square so Labor can govern without criticism.
This is outrageous.

From @WarrenPHON_VIC
👏👏👏
For twelve years Labor has run Victoria into the ground. Everyone can see they have to go.
Everyone except Jess Wilson’s Liberals, who seem more interested in flinging dirt at One Nation than at the government they’re supposed to be fighting.
The Liberals and Nationals lost the last Victorian election on 34.37 per cent. They are polling below that today.
The Victorian Liberals cannot win without One Nation voters, yet they are already measuring the curtains in Spring Street and telling voters that their votes don’t matter.
Now they’re slinging dirt against our campaign staff and candidates, and they won’t say whether they’ll put Labor ahead of One Nation.
One Nation will put Labor and the Greens last in every seat. We’re not confused. We know who we’re fighting, and we know they have to go.
Jess Wilson doesn’t seem to.
With One Nation you know where you stand.
