My 105-year-old grandmother, who is vaxxed and boosted, tested positive for Covid yesterday. Her doctor referred her to @hoaghealth in CA yesterday for monoclonal antibodies. After waiting for hours in an unheated outdoor tent she was denied treatment *because* she was vaccinated

To all the teachers and school counselors out there—thank you for everything you do. The love and support you give to your students day in and day out could not be more important, especially in times like these. I’m proud to join @ReachHigher and @CFPExtraYard in celebrating you!
We’ve had a blast celebrating school counselors and teachers making a difference in the lives of students every day during #ExtraYardSummit this weekend! We hope this message from @MichelleObama reminds you that the work you do has a huge impact and is invaluable 🌟 #EICC22

Advancing equity in work from home just got a little easier! @WSUPullman Extension's Remote Work Certificate - affordable training for rural residents. TY @AvistaUtilities @wacommerce and @stcu for helping @awbinstitute bring this best practice to WA. lnkd.in/egM_E4E7
West Sound Technical Skills Center is an amazing place where high schoolers can earn dual credit and pursue a wide range of potential careers. Can you imagine starting college with the basics in construction/game design/or nursing under your belt!?!
Wow! The workforce training at @WSTSC in Bremerton is growing by double digits as students from 10 districts come to learn real life skills like construction, welding, 3-D animation, nursing, criminal justice & more! Info & vid coming to MFGisWA.org #MFGisWA #waedu

$10,000 is apparently magic number. Another Puget Sound area hospital offered a “special-invitation only” vaccine clinic to its major donors & board members. A 3rd invited board members to a “soft launch” clinic. w/ ⁦@sydbrownstone⁩ @evanbush⁩ ⁦seattletimes.com/seattle-new…

Congratulations on this year's report! I know how much work goes into this. Nashville is lucky to have such engaged citizens on education.
Thank you for following along with us this morning! We’re not out of this pandemic yet, but as we heard from some of our students, we’re in this together. View the full 2020 Chamber Education Report here: bit.ly/3nX0xlh #2020EducationReport

What’s striking is how MUCH unlimited equipment, gear, artillery, vehicles the police departments across this nation have. Yet health care workers are forced to scrounge for PPE and using garbage bags to protect themselves from a deadly virus. – at Los Angeles, CA

Like so many of you, I’m pained by these recent tragedies. And I’m exhausted by a heartbreak that never seems to stop. Right now it’s George, Breonna, and Ahmaud. Before that it was Eric, Sandra, and Michael. It just goes on, and on, and on.
