ANNOUNCEMENT: Today, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office filed a nolle prosequi before the scheduled arraignment in the case of Commonwealth v. Marissa Todisco, in the Chelsea District Court. In so doing, they effectively announced that they are declining to prosecute the allegation that Ms. Todisco had violated a G.L. c. 209A abuse prevention order.   Ms. Todisco’s attorney, @cpujals, and our firm are grateful for the careful and independent review of this matter performed by the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office. From the start, Ms. Todisco has maintained that she was the one who had been tracked and surveilled — not the reverse. The Commonwealth's decision not to proceed with this prosecution, in our view, reflects that a fair and complete review of the facts here has produced the fair and just result we had been seeking. We expect the @BostonGlobe and other media outlets to appropriately update their reporting. We will have no further comment at this time. bostonglobe.com/2026/09/02/m…

Thrilled and truly honored to receive the Boston Globe’s endorsement in this race! “In our view, then, this election should not be about the past. The choice in this race should be the candidate most likely to handle future prosecutorial decisions wisely; to manage the office well; to fearlessly follow evidence; to be an effective advocate to the Legislature; and to set a high standard for personal competence. Based on his breadth of experience and legal acumen, we believe Adam Deitch is that candidate.” bostonglobe.com/2026/08/17/o…

Any word on why Michael Proctor never spoke to anyone in the house 34 Fairview? Why no one came out? Your article mentioned a photo of Colin A. at “a wedding” without mentioning it was Proctor’s sister and he was Ringbearer. The lack of curiosity all around is … well, curious.
In recent days, @BostonDefender David Yannetti has made baseless allegations about my work and Boston magazine. Contrary to his claims in numerous tweets, we issued two clarifications, including one providing additional context around a text message between himself and Aidan Kearney. We stand 100 percent behind the in-depth reporting and fact-checking in the story. Concerned citizens await his responses to facts revealed about his professional conduct and participation in the campaign to acquit Karen Read.

Or one could simply use Google @BostonDefender
Erudite response, as usual, Brother. Can you imagine a “journalist” accusing a criminal defense attorney of participating in a campaign to acquit his client? What’s next? Accusing a truck driver of transporting goods? Accusing a baseball player of hitting a home run? Accusing a doctor of trying to save a patient?

We are two days in and it is abundantly clear that Kevin Reddington is ready for this fight. This is THE case that moves the needle on a much greater understanding of mental illness and its relationship with the criminal justice system. The case is absolutely gut-wrenching to watch…just imagine sitting on this jury. The weight of it all. My god. Kevin Reddington has tried many big cases in his storied career…but THIS is his legacy case. He is a fierce advocate. His passion for this case and in defending Lindsay Clancy is palpable. It’s undeniable when you are watching the trial…it’s Reddington and Clancy, alone fighting the crushing power of the Government. This frame from today captures the essence of what being a criminal defense attorney feels like. It’s the hardest job in the world.

A Boston Magazine hit piece on Karen Read by Gretchen Voss has sparked heavy backlash. Lawyer & YouTuber @FormanLaw1 joined the show to give his biggest takeaways from the article.

It's disgraceful that Boston Magazine Editor-in-Chief Chris Vogel allowed his publication to be weaponized for such an out-of-touch, lazy article bloated with lies, half-truths, and basic factual errors. He's either asleep at the wheel, or doesn't care about the quality of his magazine.

nbcboston.com/news/local/blu… @BostonDefender This tragedy highlights the very danger Officer O'Malley confronted when he encountered a violent carjacking suspect in March. DA Hayden continues to ignore that the law requires evaluation of an officer's actions based on the totality of circumstances known at the time—not with the benefit of hindsight. The devastating events in Mattapan should serve as a reminder that violent carjackings can escalate into deadly consequences for entirely innocent people in a matter of seconds. If only an officer had been there to protect an innocent woman from dying a brutal death. @BostonPatrolmen

@cpujals represented our firm at the Lawrence Hometown Heroes Golf Tournament this week. It is a worthwhile charity, honoring two fallen local officers, we were very proud to be a sponsor.
