The new Plant Ecophysiology department @UniHohenheim has opened a 3-yr postdoc in plant hydrodynamics.

I will continue to return to @IBOTCZ for our project to link forest ecophysiology and hydrodynamics.
Our beech stand in Průhonice started to transpire early this March as the buds swole up (left) not a day behind the usually warmer spring in Hohenheim (right).
My German vocab word of the month was Ernennungsurkunde, which in this case means the privilege of a tenure-track position @UniHohenheim.
Monday will by my first day of an academic semester as a faculty member and I'm excited to get to build my own plant ecophysiology group.

Když dám obě křivky na sebe, vidím, že se posunul vrchol sinusoidy a zlom a to +/- lineární je návrat na tu původní.
Takže pracovní hypotéza tady z toho cvičení je, že stačí, aby krajina v létě dočasně vyschla a podobný zlom uvidíme. Konkrétní tvar pak ovlivní i ten smoothing.
