according to cleaning the glass data, cooper flagg has logged zero possessions at point guard so far this season. in fact, they have him with zero possessions at the two-guard as well. everything is at the two forward spots.

people like to say these end of the roster moves don't really matter, don't get worked up about it, and that's true to an extent. but matching cisse's offer sheet from the knicks to then waive him later in this second-apron world would have been objectively bad.

to me it’s so obvious that the Mavs are gonna completely overhaul their roster over the next 10 months. the first half of this season is gonna be all about seeing what guys have under Dusty, which combinations work, and letting the chips fall after that

for the last two years, whenever I've questioned the mavericks desire to roster so many fours and fives, a popular response is "well they're injury prone, so the depth is needed" and my rebuttal is always: why stock your roster with injury prone bigs in the first place?
