Imagine politicians speaking of police the dismissive way they speak of teachers: “I love police. My wife is a policewoman. But no more money for police. Just too much waste. All you do is complain. Yes, we know the population is growing. But you must make do with what you have.”

With a page right out of @EmpowerTexans playbook, @MattRinaldiTX basically tells @TXCatholic bishops they aren’t “Catholic enough” for his narrow #Txlege political agenda #smh

In North Texas speech, @SpeakerStraus lays out three questions he thinks primary voters should be asking candidates:
1. Are you willing to increase the state’s share of school funding?
2. Do you support local control?
3. If bathroom bill returns, how would you vote on it? #txlege
Let’s get out and vote! I hope you will support my campaign as the only candidate in #HD115 ranked “Friendly” by @Texans4E #BowerforTexas #RocktheVote nitter.gq/txparentpac/status/968…

Rightwing billionaires buying the Texas Legislature— and buying all the lies about teachers & pastors. You have more power than them. You can stop this corruption. You can vote. nitter.gq/pastors4txkids/status/…
If you want to know who’s buying our TX democracy & trading it for a rightwing theocracy, read this. Devastating! bit.ly/2sJ6M4O “Wilks brothers have given nearly $540,000 to @SenBobHall re-election campaign — 55 percent of its total.” @RobertTGarrett @dallasnews @TFN

What if I told you there was a way to run a campaign where you refuse all PAC donations. Where your campaign is entirely funded by people. Where you're not beholden to anyone except those you want to represent. nitter.gq/thehill/status/9665244…
