A Derry man who was killed in the Spanish Civil War and is referenced in the popular Christy Moore song regarding the conflict is to be honoured in his home city.
He was one of the estimated 250 Irish men who fought against the fascist forces of Francisco Franco in the conflict which engulfed Spain between 1936 and 1939.
