Christian Life Week was a success! 🙌📖 This week, students have been digging into Scripture alongside their professors through a devotional written by Boyce faculty, taking time to consider not only what God’s Word says, but what it means for the way we live. They also had the opportunity to hear from faculty and Boyce alumnus Jeremy Rhoden, co-owner of Louisville Overstock Warehouse, during a panel, learning how the truth of God’s Word shapes everyday life. From the classroom to conversations across campus, we’re grateful for a week reminding us that Scripture isn’t meant to remain in our heads. It’s meant to take root in our hearts and shape the way we live.

What a spiritually rich evening we had with pastor, author, and Southern Seminary alumnus Dr. Andrew M. Davis! 📖 Dr. Davis met with student leaders for a conversation on the importance of Scripture memorization, drawing from his book 𝐻𝑜𝑤 𝑡𝑜 𝑀𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑧𝑒 𝑆𝑐𝑟𝑖𝑝𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝐿𝑖𝑓𝑒. Students received a copy to help them learn to store God’s Word in their hearts and carry it into every part of life. That same focus continued at Dorm Meeting, where Dr. Davis preached from Psalm 1:1–6, reminding students of the blessing of a life rooted in the Word. We’re grateful for opportunities like these to learn from people who faithfully follow Christ and invest in the next generation. Thank you, Dr. Davis, for pointing our students back to the treasure that is God’s Word!

“I rejoice in my Redeemer. Greatest treasure, wellspring of my soul. I will trust in Him, no other. My soul is satisfied in Him alone.” These are the kind of truths we want to rehearse again and again, not just with our voices, but in our hearts and minds. May what we sing become what we live. 🎶

REHEARSAL IV IS HERE. 🙌🎶 Since the beginning, the Rehearsal project has been about writing and arranging psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that help Boyce College students rehearse for eternity. These songs capture the way our students worship each week in Dorm Meeting, reflecting a campus where the truth of God’s Word comes first and where students are being formed to faithfully serve the church through music. Our newest EP features “Speak O Lord,” written by @gettymusic, a song that has become part of the sound of worship at Boyce. Experience Rehearsal IV for yourself wherever you listen to music. 🎵

This year’s Fall Festival celebrated “Southern Fair: 100 Years at the Beeches,” bringing students, families, faculty, and friends together for food, games, rides, and plenty of memories. For 100 years, The Beeches campus has been home to the work of training pastors, missionaries, and church leaders. We’re grateful for the people who have filled this place with life, laughter, study, worship, and fellowship along the way.

For years, Boyce College has prepared students for lives of faithfulness and service. Today, we are expanding that mission. Introducing two new master's programs: • Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership • Master of Arts in Classical Christian Education These degrees are designed to equip a new generation of leaders and educators who will shape churches, schools, communities, and institutions for years to come. This is an exciting new chapter for Boyce College, and we cannot wait to welcome the students who will be part of it. Learn more at boycecollege.com/masters.

One day. One city. One shared mission to love Louisville well. 🏡 The 1937 Project takes its name from the historic flood of the Ohio River, but at its heart, it’s about our students spreading out across the city, serving their neighbors in tangible ways and opening the door for meaningful gospel conversations. It’s a day full of small moments that add up to something bigger and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year. 🙌

On this Christmas Day we rejoice in the angels’ proclamation: “Unto you is born this day a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Jesus came in humility, born in a manger, to bring light and salvation to a world in need. Glory to God in the highest!

During this week of Advent, we meditate on the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ. ㅤ Dr. Matt Haste reminds us that God’s love is active and transformative, reaching us first so that we might reach others. Through the gift of the Spirit, we are empowered to reflect that love in our homes, communities, and beyond. ㅤ

As we enter the week reflecting on Joy, we remember that though weeping lasts for the night, joy comes with the morning. Dr. Westerholm points us to the joy of Christ’s coming when sorrow will flee and everlasting joy will be ours.
