@bet25com is doing something interesting with its Zero Margin model, and this Aston Villa vs Man City comparison explains it better
Imagine you put $5 on either team to win
At a traditional sportsbook:
โข Aston Villa at 4.90 = $24.50 payout
โข Man City at 1.61 = $8.05 payout
On Bet25:
โข Aston Villa at 5.20 = $24.70 payout
โข Man City at 1.68 = $7.98 payout (after 5% flat rate fees)
Hereโs the difference:
Bet25 removes the built-in margin on selected markets and charges a flat 5% fee on your stake instead.
So your $5 becomes $4.75 before the odds are applied.
Interestingly, Villa pays slightly more here, while City pays slightly less after fees (ggs if you picked Villa)
Thatโs why comparing the actual payout matters more than just looking at the odds

"Mid 2025, Somnia cooked and gave my close friends over $800k in rewards.
These people I introduced SOMNIA to and even urged them to farm.
Dropped a detailed guide on X, held video calls with them when they needed clarification... Unfortunately, I didn't qualify for the Testnet airdrop.
But guess what?
Out of 11 of them (they all qualified), only one person sent 200 SOMI worth around $190+ then.
And she was the one that made the least.
The ones who made $300k? Or $95k? Or $109k?
They never sent a dime and guess what? I even DMed them to congratulate them.

Something I think more trading platforms should pay attention to is what happens to your capital when youโre not actively trading.
A lot of traders keep funds on a platform, waiting for the next opportunity. But depending on how those funds are held, they may not be earning anything.
This is one reason Grvt Earn caught my attention.
As part of Grvt 2.0, the platform plans to introduce tokenized fixed-income strategies targeting yields of up to 11%.
Of course, thatโs a target, not a guaranteed return, and the actual risks and terms matter.
What interests me more is the bigger picture.
@grvt_io is trying to bring earning and trading into one connected, self-custodial experience instead of treating them as completely separate activities.
And with Yield as Margin also planned, eligible Earn balances could eventually be used as trading margin while continuing to earn yield.
That could make managing capital more flexible for users.
The real question is how smoothly these products work together once theyโre live.
If Grvt gets that right, Grvt 2.0 could offer something more useful than just another place to trade.
