In 2010 my daughter Indigo and I got to meet Frank Drake and he toured us around the James Lick Observatory. He even brought sandwiches. He was so kind and that a memory we treasure. He was truly great. nitter.gq/nadiamdrake/status/156…
He was there when I entered this world, and I was there when he left:

In 2010 my daughter and I got to spend a day with your dad. He was so kind and patient and brought sandwiches your mom made. Indigo will be graduating from high school soon and has a lasting love of everything space.
It’s been a very interesting day in more than two ways. Just saw a literal black swan on Breaker Bay Beach.

Note: also trying to introduce New Zealand to @khemmisdoom
