She is a wonderful person and a very good friend. People think I'm a misogynist, but I can't be, because Ren shows me just how sweet, kind, caring, and loving a woman can be when she devotes herself to God and embraces her feminine nature instead of rejecting it.
The few times we've met in person have been a joy, you are an amazing friend, a devoted and loving wife for your husband, and I am not just happy, but honored to call you a friend.
This mindset is exactly why marriage is a dead institution and men and women hate each other by the way.

It’s one of the worst things to happen to Christianity, culturally speaking, in modern times. And despite reports to the contrary, it really hasn’t gotten any better. Most “faith based” entertainment is bland and flavorless and, worst of all, a display of artistic cowardice. It refuses to take any chances or do anything that might be even remotely upsetting to the audience or even vaguely ambiguous about the message it’s trying to send. The result is an endless catalogue of “Christian” films and shows that are lifeless, pointless, and boring to an almost infuriating degree. What makes this so tragic is that it wasn’t always this way. Christian artists in all mediums for centuries created brilliant, beautiful, inspiring, timeless, sometimes difficult and complicated works of art. But the modern day Dostoevsky or Flannery O Connor or even Michelangelo, if such a person exists, would never get a film made by a Christian studio because their stories would be too upsetting to the middle aged Christian female audience that all of these companies exclusively cater to.
Once again we see the feminists insisting that women have no agency and cannot make their own decisions.
Also once again feminists trying to give themselves an out for being disobedient. "My husband wasn't leading me properly!"
And, as I need to restate a million times for the people in the back, if this feminist nonsense were even remotely true, then the Bible wouldn't address women at all. It would just talk to the men, because this logic assumes women are stupid mindless animals who cannot be talked to or reasoned with. The biblical commands to submit wouldn't be there. They would just say
"Husbands, be good leaders so that your wives may submit to you."
But it doesn't say that. it says "WIVES, SUBMIT TO YOUR HUSBANDS." That is a command, and it is addressed to the wives. It is telling the wives to submit. This is an action required on her part. It is a command given to her.
Not her husband. Her. She is commanded to submit.
Titus 2:3-5
[3] Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, [4] and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, [5] to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.
He is specifically telling the older women to teach the younger women to love and submit to their husbands. This is a command given to the women, not the men. It doesn't say "teach the men to be good leaders so they can have submissive wives."
The command is to you. You are not a stupid dumb animal, as much as you love to pretend that you are so you can dodge all accountability. You are a person. You have agency. You have free will.
For goodness' sake Peter even explicitly gives an example of wives submitting to their husbands even when they don't believe.
I Peter 3:1
Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives
"EVEN IF SOME DO NOT OBEY THE WORD." He is literally saying "even if your husband isn't doing his job, submit to him anyway, because that's what your role is."
It could not be more explicit if he wanted it to be and even still these feminists try to invent these ridiculous nonsensical loopholes to get around it.
I could be the most loving, godly husband in the world, and my wife could still choose to disobey me, because she is a person with agency and free will.
Likewise, I could be the most abusive, angry, lazy husband in the world, and my wife could still choose to submit to me, because, again, she is a person with agency, and not an animal blindly led by instinct.

It's actually insane to me how women infantilize themselves like this. I went back to Virginia for the weekend. Decided to go to the Chrysler Museum of Art. I like museums, I like art, maybe this will be relaxing.
Except it's not, because virtually every single plaque describing the art is filled with leftist drivel. We get to the section of American art, and it's everywhere.
"Yes, this is a pretty painting of a young American girl, but did you know THIS GIRL'S FAMILY OWNED SLAVES?! DID YOU KNOW SHE'S AN EEEEEVIL LITTLE GIRL?! SHE HAD SLAVES! IN AMERICA! BLACK SLAVES! SHE'S AN EEEEEVIL LITTLE RACIST!"

How dare you revere your ancestors because they were bad people!
Oh, but it wasn't all negative, of course. There was some nice things said. We strolled through the African art section, and of course we just have to endlessly praise and glorify them.
"LOOK AT AFRICA! SUCH A DIVERSE CONTINENT! LOOK AT HOW WONDERFUL AND AMAZING THEIR ART WAS! ISN'T IT JUST THE BEST?"
Of course it's just a crude wooden figure with a giant schlong. But that's just so great, right? Crude, wooden penises! Oh, and stone penises too. Weren't the Africans so enlightened and visionary?
I'm so sick of it. I can't even go to the freaking museum and just enjoy the artistry of the past. What should be a fun day enjoying fine work instead turns into a college lecture about how white people are evil and nasty and non-whites are just amazing and awesome.
I don't want to sound like I worship men or the country or anything, but this kind of stuff is almost blasphemy. It's sacrilegious. It's spitting directly in the face of the people who built this country and made it the greatest country on earth.
I'm so sick of it. I'm so sick of it all. It's not just the museum. It's everywhere. I go to the mall and there's some boomer broad with a shirt that says "a woman's place is in the revolution." Oh lovely. Communists just openly walking the streets.
Every single day I'm bombarded with constant propaganda, being reminded that my country is run by communists and people who hate me and want me dead. Just seeing lies being shoved in my face every single day, everywhere I go.
