More people really need to understand this basic fact. To the malignant actors, your beliefs and identity markers, whatever they may be, are nothing more than tools to be exploited and costumes to be worn, torn, and burned when they get bored/broke. Just because someone says they're Christian does not mean they're a good person, it does not mean they want to be a good person, or even that they know what the word "good" even means (let alone "person"). This applies to every religion, identity, political affiliation, etc. The skinwalkers are everywhere
Replying to @captive_dreamer
Christianity is an effective shield for the right wing by malignant parasites. Just as LGBTQ+ is for the left wing. It's all just evil subversive pieces of shit manipulating normal well meaning first worlders into giving them money and power. They don't actually care about you or what you believe. You're either a human wallet, or you're a target. There is no 3rd option when it comes to them.

New media term-turned-slur just dropped: "Reckless Visitors"
Indians are so retarded that the New York Post is now black-naming them.

More George Lucas parallelism. It's literally the entire prequel trilogy, not just Padme running in a field

An accurate summation of Star Wars lore regarding the Sith. Whether we're talking George Lucas' original intention, the EU lore, or Disney lore. The Sith can never fully win because they literally can't get out of their own way. They don't believe in friends, only temporarily useful allies to be disposed of later.
>Sith won't stop killing eachother >Blame Jedi >Create rule that only two sith can exist >Still kills eachother >Doesn't even follow said rule >Still blames Jedi >Plan and seethe for 1,000 years to make empire >Makes empire >Lasts 30 years before sith kills eachother

I feel like this gets under represented in terms of modern girl power feminist "yas kween" slop. American women, when they aren't libtarded (fleetingly rare these days), are just built different.
Not to anywhere near the same degree as the Rebellion, but yes. Quite a few women acted as political advisors, scouts, spies, marksmen, political party founders & leaders, Mulan-style soldiers, bank rollers, and so on. One of them, a woman named Nancy Hart (sharpshooter), did an Uno Reverse and invited British Soldiers in for loggings so she could capture them as war prisoners for the Continent Army to bargain with. It was everyone vs the British Empire during The Revolutionary War. Men, women, children (teenagers), native tribes, slaves, etc. One 16 year old girl rode 40 miles at night to warn Connecticut's militias about a coming British attack.

We would like to draw attention to Jdawg's essay, once more, valuable work done by a Gamer, addressing public policy questions impacting gaming. See reshare/comment. Essay here: gbamfs.org/_files/ugd/bedae8… Also @X @Support, please note the almost two week period of false 'Inauthentic,' account restriction suffered by our founder @JdawgKaiSigma amid public policy questions being raised and addressed by our group around gaming and Welfare policy @FEC You may view the provided context in the comments.
I note that my comment ban coincided with the release of my essay on American Labor, and peak election season here. Being a public advocate on issues that impact policy, I believe the continued blackout of my comments constitutes public information interference. I object, @FEC

Heather Morris was Beyonce's main backup dancer who was brought in to teach the Single Ladies choreo for an episode. They decided to keep her around as a choreographer and background extra... At least until they realized she could both sing and act too. At that point she slowly turned into a main character. This is what I mean by the magic of the show being, to a degree, an accident. Like half of the original mains were hired to be something else, or were hired last minute and had their characters written around their talents mid-production. That sort of magic cannot be replicated, which is part of why the 2nd gen cast fell so flat. 2nd gen cast was good, but corporate. 1st gen cast was organic.
she tore tf out of this performance oh my god

Also, on a personal level about this performance, am I the only one whose eyes immediately gravitate towards Quinn the second her and her yellow sundress come into frame? Diana is killing that choreo and the sundress is beautiful and especially stands out next to everyone else. She's like a really classy banana breaking it down with the best of them.

Turns out all those nerdy white engineers the MBAs replaced the jeets were load-bearing and now a good portion of the net is going to collapse lmao
I spent last night watching my honeypot server get hit 14,000 times in six hours. And almost none of the traffic was human. I've been in security for over a decade, and I can tell you with full honesty that what's happening right now doesn't resemble anything I've worked through before. The shape of the threat has changed. When I started, we tracked attackers like weather systems like individual storms with a direction, a motive, and a human operator you could eventually name. These days I'm watching autonomous agents swarm login pages with the patience and discipline of machines, because that's what they are. The numbers coming out of October are the ones keeping me up. Cloudflare just absorbed a 4.2 terabit per second DDoS attack, the largest in recorded history. Ransomware incidents jumped 41% in a single month. In September, OpenAI-powered agents got caught attacking RubyGems, a package registry that quietly underpins a huge chunk of software I use every day. In July, roughly 700 AI agents coordinated an attack on Hugging Face's infrastructure as part of a single automated task. A Chinese threat actor was publicly caught running full attack chains through DeepSeek with no human at the keyboard. I keep rereading these reports because each one by itself would've been the biggest story of the year five years ago. Together, in one month, they're the new baseline. What I want people outside the industry to understand is why this specific moment feels like a hinge. For thirty years, the thing protecting most of us was simple economics. Attackers had to choose who to target because their time was finite. That ceiling is gone. An agent I can rent for pennies will try every leaked password you've ever used against every service you've ever signed up for, in parallel, overnight, and never get tired. The same math that made ChatGPT useful made opportunistic hacking infinite. The old assumption that you were "too boring to be a target" relied on scarcity that no longer exists. I'm not writing this to spiral anyone out. Most of this fight genuinely isn't yours to win. But the small things still matter more than people think. Tonight I'd switch your most important accounts like email, bank, primary cloud, etc. to passkeys or a hardware key. I'd kill SMS 2FA wherever an authenticator app is offered. I'd turn on breach alerts in whatever password manager you use. If you're in the US, I'd freeze my credit at all three bureaus, which is free and takes about ten minutes. None of that stops the swarm. It makes you a slightly worse target than the person next to you. In a month like this one, that's the whole game I'm playing too. @mattshumer_ has summed it beautifully. Drop everything and go give it a read. Nothing is more important than this article right now.

As great as the score in the OT is, the likely reason why the prequels' score is so much better is because after Return of the Jedi, George Lucas and Joseph Campbell became friends, and just before Campbell died, John Williams got to meet him as well, where he finally understood what George Lucas was trying to do with Star Wars in the first place. Thus, allowing him to lock tf in to the mythological space opera quality of the series for the prequels, beyond just it being a fun space adventure.

This is sad. The Internet started as a defacto adults-only space, but it was never limited to the bright and talented (early university students, middle and high schoolers under supervision.) The answer to maintaining civility online should not be to turn the world's common communication medium into a nursery. It won't work, and to the extent it may, it effective pulls up the ladder for those seeking to expand their horizons. The pre-Social Web was still social, but far less dismal. Everyone found their niche. The common niche many are forced into now seems to be censorship. Big Brother Watch's [UK] report is eye-opening and recommended reading.
The Online Safety Act has made hosting community forums so laborious that they're closing shop. Hundreds of forums have shuttered due to piling paperwork and liability risks. Ordinary speech from ordinary people, gone. Read our report ⤵️ bigbrotherwatch.org.uk/campa…

This is a consequence of a very specific cultural attitude. Vivek saw Trump win by being unashamed, so he assumed anything could be done. But even Trump could not get away with something like this. Brazen personal comments from a brazen guy and a campaign ad are not the same.
