Anyone promoting prop trading is also promoting gambling. Please stop with the “ethical” or “moral” angles. It’s literally gambling for rewards. Prop Affiliates are some of the most manipulative narcissists I’ve ever seen…. and I grew up in NYC so that says a lot.

I didn’t grow up rich and I didn’t make it with anyone’s help. Here’s an electricity bill from 2019 for $148 that I couldn’t pay. They were going to turn it off as I missed a payment of $20 while already having a payment arrangement. Now I have a $50,000 solar system powering my whole home and don’t pay a dollar for electricity. The same house with the overdue electricity bill had ceilings that collapsed. The roof had a leak and destroyed the sheet rock and insulation under it. I had to place a tarp over the ceiling because I had no money to fix the roof. I had heat in the winter but it couldn’t warm the house due to an open ceiling in multiple rooms with tarps covering it. I was BROKE and had no control over my life. Even after this, I moved to a place that I was sleeping on an air mattress in a living room for years. I was so tired of the situations that I kept putting myself in and I knew something had to change. That something was ME. I didn’t become rich the same year or the year after but I got 1% better each day. I made sure that the next situation was better than the previous one. I continued to improve week by week, month by month. I went back to school a got a bachelors degree so I could scale my income and not have to make minimum wage. Every job I left was for a higher paying one. Life didn’t get better the same week of anything unfortunate happening to me but I knew that the solution was within my control and I had to rise to the level of responsibility in order to fix every problem I encountered, even the self-inflicted ones. Hell, I even made worse mistakes after but that wasn’t the end. Life is so much better today and worth living. Now I own a million dollar home, own a tesla, can make money on my phone and know that I’ll never face those days again in my life. In fact, my entire bloodline will never see that kind of poverty again. If I ever hit rock bottom again, I just need $200, a phone/laptop and in 2 weeks I could live comfortably again without anyone’s help. This is why I locked in with trading. I wanted a level of change that even my younger self couldn’t recognize or dream of and the only way to do it was to be radical about it. My discipline needed to match my desperation AND IT DID. Trading for money is HARD but I did it and I know others can too with a sound system + proper risk management. Prop firms didn’t change my life, I did with a Live account and discipline. Don’t go into debt trying to trade before having a system with positive expectancy that you spent MONTHS testing. Do it the right way. Your past and future self will thank you. While you spend time scrolling online, remember why you are doing the things you’ve set out to do. Spend less time on here and more time studying. Become so damn good at what you’re doing that you standout in the crowd of others who do it. Lock tf in with learning so you and your Loved ones never have to need or want anything again. If a poor kid from NYC with no financial background and no family support could do it, so can YOU! You got this ❤️
