AHSAA Alabama Mississippi All Star Football Classic Roster Presented by Central State Bank - centralstatebank.com Top Talent to try to keep Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Classic Win Streak Alive MONTGOMERY – A six-game win streak is on the line when the Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Classic resumes December 12th in Mobile at Hancock-Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama. Domination isn’t a reach either in describing Alabama’s performance in this rivalry series. Alabama has won this classic 28 times out of 39 games and looks to do the same in December. The Alabama team was recently selected by top high school coaches from the state, including Keith Etheridge (Auburn), Chris Yeager (Mountain Brook), Terry Curtis (UMS-Wright), among others. Alabama High School Athletic Directors and Coaches Association Director J.T. Lawrence said of the process, “Our selection committee spends countless hours evaluating film, communicating with coaches across the state, and carefully considering each nominee. Their dedication helps ensure that the players selected represent the very best of Alabama high school football.” Alabama All-Star Head Coach Richie Busby (Helena) said, “I would like to thank the selection committee for their time and efforts selecting another quality team to represent the AHSAA and the state of Alabama. The roster is loaded with future college stars and quality young men.” The obvious place to skew the talent level begins at quarterback. St. Michael’s Gunnar Rivers (N.C. State commit), Central Phenix-City’s Bobby Coleman (Georgia State) and Auburn’s Cason Myers (Arkansas) are among the talented signal callers who will not participate in this game. The two who did make the roster include Alabama commit Trent Seaborn (Thompson) and Saraland’s Jamison Roberts (Oklahoma commit). Their targets are loaded with skill as well, led by Darion Moseley (Thompson/Arkansas commit), DeShawn Hall (Prattville/Auburn commit), and other electric receivers. “Offensively, we have explosive guys in the skill positions with QBs that can get playmakers the ball,” said Busby. Alabama commit Stafford Willis of Arab leads an offensive line that averages just under 304 pound-per-lineman. They hope to open holes for guys like M.J. Gideon (Vandy commit) of James Clemons. Tra’von Hall of Central-Tuscaloosa (Ole Miss commit) and Kamron Smith of Mary G. Montgomery. Defensively, the defensive line raises eyebrows with its potential and ability. Ramsay’s Karlos May (Ohio State commit) anchors a line along with Avrian (A.J.) Pauley (Alabama commit) from McGill-Toolen Catholic and Cameron Pritchett (Oregon commit) of Thompson, among others. Auburn commit Isaac McNeil of Vigor is a name to watch along with Ellis McGaskin (Auburn commit) of Williamson. As expected, the secondary is also stocked full of talent at all positions, including Prattville’s Jayden Aparicio-Bailey (Clemson commit) and Jaylen Scott (Oklahoma commit) of Williamson. Busby says of his defense, “The roster is very versatile with guys having the ability to play multiple positions.” Here is a list of the complete roster for Alabama in the All-Star Classic with Mississippi.
