For lifetime collectors who also sell, #TheHobby regret is one helluva lesson (yet somehow, worth going through). That journey—for better or for worse—reveals: money is NOT what you're chasing💰
I'm on a quest to RE-discover what was *actually* mine.

...that time when I bought a $25 '72 Fisk RC and the @Fanatics marketplace vendor sent me a $1 '76 Guidry (oh and then Fanatics @Collect didn't do $#!t about or standby the integrity of its marketplace community...)

November 3, 2013, Orr: My Story, an autobiography written by Bobby Orr debuted at #8 on The New York Times Best Seller list for nonfiction. #4 Bobby Orr of course played for the Boston #Bruins and the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League from 1966 to 1978.
I know everyone loves to complain about USPS service, BUT: gauging the temperature here, has it been *ungodly* slow over this past 2 weeks? #thehobby

It’s time again for the Vintage Hockey Sales thread. Pre-1990 only and list a price for the love of Bobby Orr. Makes sense to say Topps or OPC and save time. Want lists are encouraged and retweets appreciated. Did I say “LIST A PRICE!!!”?
Also please note if USD or CAD
I'm attending a Diá de los Muertos "truck-or-treat" event today and ours jas a decidedly vintage vibe. Can you guess the theme?
Hint: ...one of these players is mentioned by name in an otherwise fictional film.

Some people are "Die Hard is a Christmas movie" people. I am a "Donnie Darko is a Halloween movie" person!
This is the hill that I will die on. 💀
What's really amusing on #Halloween: high-stress customer service environments (e.g. Starbucks, Dunks) where employees are feigning joy but still totally passive-aggressively hating their co-workers. Yet, jubilant costumes!! 👻

ALT A humorous illustration titled "How Time Works" by Becky Barnicoat. The image depicts time as a roller coaster track with months labeled along the curve. The "You" is positioned at the start of the ride, near the bottom of the first steep drop, representing the experience of time speeding up as the year progresses.
