The only way to stop rewarding these ridiculous political TV ads, digital ads and mailers is for voters to get educated. Both D’s and R’s prey on ignorance. They have no reason to stop when it keeps getting them elected. They don’t even talk about what they will do anymore, they just name call the other like a couple 6 year olds. An informed public would be a threat to the hucksters, scammers and liars currently in office and running. That means voters who know the difference between a campaign promise and an actual record. Instead, too many Americans mistake loyalty to a party for being informed. They question everything the other side says and nothing their own side doesn’t do. Until voters get informed, the cycle and quality of life will continue to worsen. Politicians get rewarded for manipulating voters instead of delivering results and voters keep putting them back in office because they called the other a pervert in a commercial and wonder why nothing gets better.

Milton Friedman: “In the long run, government will spend whatever the tax system will raise, plus as much more as it can get away with. That’s what history tells us.” “So my view has always been: cut taxes on any occasion, for any reason, in any way that’s politically feasible, as the only way to keep down the size of government.”

Vice President JD Vance on H1-B visas: "If you’re going to bring in an accountant making $45,000 a year to replace an accountant who is an American making $60,000 a year, that’s not you using the program to bring in a genius. That’s you destroying American jobs and defrauding the American people... my view is the H1-B program is completely broken."

I’m glad the NFL is cracking down on this. Kids watch these games. No need for stuff like this in the NFL presented by DraftKings. Let the kids find out about beer the way they should… through the hundreds of NFL sponsored Bud Light commercials per game.
Another round: Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson was fined $13,611 for what the NFL said was his “imitation of shotgunning a beer” Sunday vs. Washington that “constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably could be construed as being in poor taste.”

Your reminder that the Big 12 (and KU) took away a home game from us this week to go play 4,400 miles away in front of British fans that couldn’t point to Kansas or Arizona on a map

Lance Leipold was the right man for the job when he was hired at Kansas. But after losing to Missouri and falling to 0-7 in rivalry games, it's fair to question whether he's the right man for the job now. @jayhawks_kcsn | #KUfball si.com/college/kansas/footba…

Teams during rivalry week: - Ohio State: We don’t give a damn for the whole state of Michigan - Alabama: Go East until you smell it, go South until you step in it - Kansas: John Brown did nothing wrong. 260,000 dead confederates was not enough.

From @TheAthletic: A viral Kansas football hype video, ahead of its rivalry game against Missouri on Friday, referenced the Civil War. “There are heroes and villains,” the video states. “There’s right and wrong. There’s Kansas and Missouri.” nyti.ms/3V9p6lc

The University of Missouri refused to play @uiowa because we had a black guy on our team. In response, Iowa refused to play Missouri for the next 100 years.
