Marty has run the New York City Marathon every year since 1980 and finished his 43rd tonight as the last man across the line. He said it would be his final one his mind is still willing, but his body isn’t.
A remarkable way to end the streak. Congratulations on 43 NYC Marathons, Marty. ❤️
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The runner’s name is James Thomas, not Marty. The person who filmed and spoke with him (@MickmickNYC) confirmed this. He is not the 90-year-old Marty Granoff (who ran his 6th NYC Marathon in 2026, last previously in 1983).

Non Christians:
I’m sorry if a church let you down.
I’m sorry if a “Christian” let you down.
I’m sorry if a pastor let you down.
I’m sorry if I let you down.
Just know this.
We aren’t Jesus.
We are sinners.
We make mistakes.
We need his grace.
I pray you give HIM a chance even if a church let you down.
Christians, let’s be better representatives of Christ.

This video has changed the way I answer questions and even how I approach things.
H.E. Paul Kagame is more than just a President. He is a mentor and a good man. I just pray to God to give him a long life as we continue to work together and learn from his wisdom.

Meet Désiré Kabengele, a Congolese engineer and founder of Desire Tech, turning everyday problems into practical innovations🇨🇩
One of his standout inventions is Kivu Fitness a wooden treadmill that operates without electricity or a motor, powered entirely by the user’s own movement.
But that’s not all. His innovations also include:
1. Congo Recycling turning plastic waste into usable fuel.
2. Agri Africa, developing affordable machinery for small-scale farmers, including a multifunctional mini-tractor developed in 2025.
In 2022, Kabengele was selected by Light RDC among 50 promising young talents in technology.
No electricity. No motor. Just engineering, creativity and determination.

#UnpopularOpinion #827. Your friend at work is just a work colleague. When you leave that work place, no one will remember to check on you. Get real friends who stand the test of time.

RWENZORI MARATHON 2026
SONTO NGOMANE - South African running influencer
@AbiazRwamwiri you recommended we bring @MarimaSipho and we did and we saw how influential he is.
You have recommended SONTO NGOMANE and he is preparing to arrive UGANDA next week with our South African commissioner @AmoruPaul for RWENZORI MARATHON along side many other influencers.
These guys don’t just influence South Africans to come but some East Africans have come because of them.
ASANTE SANA @AbiazRwamwiri and many others who recommended we do this!

No one prepares you for international logistics. 😁
You receive the client's goods & that's when chaos starts. Delay here, customs there, everything falling apart.
But you promised to deliver. So you deliver. No excuse.
