. @allybank I come from a large family & have an extensive friend/acquaintance group. They're canceling their Ally accounts & credit cards. They can't believe you couldn't bring yourself to acknowledge what happened today or offer an apology for ruining my Christmas. Dueces
. @allybank I want you to know this is the 2nd national holiday you've ruined for me. My card is blocked again. None of your reps seem to be able to unblock it. Oh yeah, 1 of the reps actually hung up on me. You are the worst bank I have ever dealt with

. @alamy Some things are morally reprehensible to sell. Any documents naming enslaved people should never be sold. These are peoples' ancestors. Wasn't enough $$$ made through slavery without actively profiting over slavery even more?? Shameful.

EJI mourns the passing of Frazine K. Taylor, a great Alabama historian and genealogist who documented the lives and legacy of African Americans and helped the state and the region recognize often overlooked parts of American history. EJI was honored to work with Mrs. Taylor and we celebrate her extraordinary life.

It was around 1972 when I was 6 years old. My family was on an Amtrak train from CT to DC. My much older siblings had me singing "I'm Black & I'm Proud" at the top of my voice. #WhenITurnedBlack
