Another hilarious thing is how people act like Sasuke's plan was realistic. He thought he was going to make everything good by being everything bad. With common sense it falls apart & in the story's logic it falls apart. Kaguya, Madara, Danzo all showed this couldn't work.

Yeah because Danzo who is still defending his war crime as “sacrifice” till the very end is 100% not gaslighting and sees through the only victim left. I stand by my last rebuttal because you truly want to prove Sasuke’s revenge is not legitimate regardless.

That's one of the deep contrasts and ironies of the work. The fact that Danzo sees through Sasuke entirely. The truth no longer matters to Sasuke who has confessed that his eyes are closed to the light. Even if not Konoha, he wants to destroy because he's in pain.
