If Donald couldn't help himself when carefully selecting his words to put together a defense, I find it hard to believe that he didn't also subject his colleagues to similarly unnecessary, offensive jokes steeped in racist tropes and stereotypes.

Donald McNeil's carefully vetted, attorney-reviewed defense of his ouster from the NYT is a whack-a-mole game of casual racism, usually delivered in the form of jokes. I caught one on the first page, and they kept going. (Hint: it's a joke about Jews and real estate)

Not feeling the contrast this week bt multiple twitter threads from podcast hosts saying they want to bring on more women (don't believe that for a minute; the women are all around you) AND hearing about a host calling a woman a "harpy" to make a point on a very popular show
I do this for basically all my web browsing. Why do people have to make their fonts so small?

As the owner of a podcast booking agency, I like getting emails like this! We don't know your preferences until you tell us, and this is far from a universal standard. My company has worked with 100+ podcasts who love hearing from us. We keep notes on preferences like this.

Hours after the El Paso shooting, Mitch McConnell proudly tweeted this photo. I find it so troubling that our politics have become so nasty and personal that the Senate Majority Leader thinks it's appropriate to use imagery of the death of a political opponent (me) as messaging.
