Man oh man! Cannot say enough about what a remarkable person @duvalpat3 is and how proud @UofIllinois should be to have him as part of the Fighting Illini family. Our kids invited him to their game at the middle school state b-ball tourney and he came to cheer them on! BEST EVER!

The back up to the back up plan of borrowing Howard Zimm’s A People’s History of the United States has left me with a TWO WEEK WAIT. To quote third eye blind here, “I’d walk with my people if I could find them” – at Hillsboro, IL

I am 57th in line on Libby for a copy of an audiobook that was first released in 2003. Someone make that make sense. Who is going back in time to read (or re-read, in my case) A Short History of Nearly Everything?

I’ve thought about one more thing - how will my kids feel if I die trying to save someone else’s kids? Which will win out - saving the kids in front of me, or fighting to live for my own children? And why, as a teacher, do I even need to consider so monstrous a choice?

This has been floating around for a bit. There's not one thing incorrect. Even if you aren't a teacher, you're looking for ways out, escape routes, and spots to shelter in place. I don't know who to credit, but thank you for putting into words what we are feeling right now 💔
