Today was a tough day …. Having to wish my awesome boss a fond farewell as he moves to North Yorks FRS as AM (hope you know how lucky you are North Yorks 😊) - genuinely one of the best - good luck @billsleyLFR … I didn’t get a pic 😩

Another reminder not to venture onto icy lakes or ponds. This is Benjie 🐶 rescued today by @FireWainfleet from a lake in Skegness and treated with a pet oxygen mask. Please keep kids and dogs away from icy water this winter.
It’s a hot one at the Bassingham fete today, we are here until 5pm, so pop and see us 🔥🥵☀️… trying to get WM Taylor in the stocks 💦@LincsFireRescue @LincsFM

What a day!!
Major incident declared in @LincsFireRescue yesterday.
It took an immense amount of passion and skill from our fire crews, Officers, Control and Support teams to get through that one. Incredibly hard in 40'C heat.
Very proud of all the 'can do' in our teams ❤👍🏻

Thanks as ever to our #999family for supporting our efforts across the county #StrongerTogether
*Major Fire* Challenging working conditions for @LincsPolice @LincsCOPter and @LincsFireRescue just one example a large fire at Gayton Top near Alford today. Drone used to track the spread of the fire allowing incident commanders to direct crews accordingly. #teamwork

At 6pm we still had 25 appliances at incidents and 3 supporting neighbouring counties.
We are still receiving very high number of 999 calls. Please only call 999 in a genuine emergency or where there is an immediate risk to life. (2/2)

IMPORTANT: Along with a number of other fire services, we have declared a major incident for Lincolnshire this evening.
We have had an incredibly busy day – both our control room and our crews - responding to incidents in Lincolnshire and supporting other services. (1/2)
