Healthcare workers are committed to providing respectful, client-centred care, but they cannot offer choices that are not available. Repeated stock-outs leave providers struggling to meet clients’ needs while eroding trust in health facilities & causing frustration on both sides

I want to offer an apology to the people of Nairobi, Kenya. The passion you have your city and homeland is amazing… We all make mistakes. I misspoke, and I am sorry to anyone I have offended.πŸ™Œ

Policies that promote politics of exclusion, where some regions prosper while others are deliberately left behind must be wiped off the face of our politics. The Kenya we want is one where success in life is a product of merit, hard work and nurturing of talents.

At Youth Alive! Kenya, we believe that strong organizations are the foundation of sustainable community transformation. We recently convened our Member Organizations in Mombasa for a two-day capacity-building training designed to strengthen their institutional capacity and enhance their ability to effectively serve their communities. The training covered key areas including leadership, accountability, advocacy, resource mobilization, and organizational sustainability. Through interactive sessions and practical discussions, participants explored effective leadership practices, good governance, organizational accountability, advocacy, strategies for mobilizing resources, and approaches to building resilient, sustainable organizations. By investing in the capacity of our Member Organizations, we are empowering them to improve their systems, strengthen partnerships, influence positive change, and deliver greater impact within the communities they serve.
