Colorado Rapids Fall Short on Decision Day as 2026 Season Ends burgundywave.com/2026/11/07/… Decision Day Thoughts and more as Colorado's season ends in Texas.

Morgan Whittaker on the offseason. "It's just a time to obviously have a few days of reflection and sort of see what we could have done better and what we have done well, but I think it's just so important to have time with family and use the time that you get off." #Rapids96

Wells on Aaronson's injury. "We just got to really hope Paxton's going to have to have an X-ray. We have to hope that I'm fearing the worst to be honest. Looking at the size of his ankle, so fingers crossed for Pax." #Rapids96

Matt Wells on the first half tonight. "We didn't not make the playoffs because of tonight. You know, there's no shame at going to the team second in the league, second in the league for a reason, and for the first time in a long time, getting absolutely dominated." #Rapids96

88' Kaick puts what looks to be the hammer and nail on Colorado's season. It's a long ball that falls, and he does the rest, curling it into the far post. 1-2 | #Rapids96

87' LAFC pull one back against Seattle, but as it stands it won't be enough for the Rapids. 1-1 | #Rapids96

84' Ted Ku-DiPietro and Youssef Maziz enter the match to try and save their season. 1-1 | #Rapids96

Colorado fails to hold the lead and concedes off a back-post run that fails to get tracked. They need another goal quick. 1-1 | #Rapids96

79' A scary challenge by Logan Farrington on Aaronson, and he is forced off the pitch. 1-1 | #Rapids96

75' FC Dallas finally find their leveler. It's a back post run and a brilliant finish from Valiente. It's not good news for Colorado. They drop back down into 10th place. 1-1 | #Rapids96
