Always been jealous when a club has a legend with the amount of appearances and time as Diego Chara, I’d say the closest thing the rapids have is Keegan Rosenberry right now and even then, it’s not even close for he levels of Diego Chara, legend.
I think you add some better pieces next window around Whittaker and he will become a force, not a fan of the lack of pressing or movement after possession loss.
I think Farkhi is underachieving as a whole and Sadiq is an unknown still.
Not a great game, but a great win for the rapids! They found a way to take the lead and hold it down! That’s what we need more of. Great job shutting down the best in the west.
Another mid half where the rapids as a home team can’t show the ability to take control and score. Sure some of the actions were good, but they still lack a finishing touch. I feel like I’ve said this for the last 10 years though.
Auckland FC pulled a Colorado Rapids and completely blew the game in the second half. I think the consensus is Auckland need a Defender.
Great news for future Colorado Rapid Akol Akon, he’s available for Australia in the U-17 WC, a decision that Sydney first said no to, and with public backlash, changed their mind and said he can go.
Sydney argued Akon could be impactful during the A-League matches during the WC Window, I believe it was something like 3 games.
Akon will get a way better experience at the U-17 WC and should be primed and ready to become a Rapid when he arrives later.
