Congratulations to our U-21 team on winning the silver medal at the Sultan of Johor Cup. Congratulations also to the team management and coaching staff for their efforts.I watched the match highlights, and unfortunately, we lost in the shootout. Our young goalkeeper tried his best and relied on his own skills. I have always emphasized that goalkeepers need to develop their individual skills, but unfortunately, there is no proper structure or dedicated training program for goalkeepers. Just five days of training is not enough to develop a goalkeeper to an international standard. If you want to win tournaments, it does not matter how many goals you score; the goalkeeping department is one of the most important components of modern hockey. Unfortunately, even today, this department does not receive the attention it deserves. I sincerely hope the federation will recognize the importance of goalkeeping and appoint the right person to lead this department, establish a proper development structure, and introduce specialized training programs for our goalkeepers.A strong goalkeeping department is essential for building a winning team.

Congratulations to the boys on winning the 🥉 Bronze Medal! 🇵🇰👏Pakistan beat Korea 5–3 in the bronze medal match. A great fighting performance by the team. Good luck for the upcoming events! Hopefully, Pakistan Hockey 🇵🇰 will continue to improve and finish among the top two in the upcoming Asian events.

Well done, boys! 🇵🇰 A great fight against India🇮🇳. Unfortunately, we lost the match in the dying moments of the game .Today, we had a golden chance to win this match. We played well, and although India took a 3–0 lead, we fought back strongly and levelled the game at 3–3. After a long time, I saw India struggling during the game, which shows how well we competed today.Honestly, we missed a golden opportunity to qualify for the final. India 🇮🇳scored the winning goal at the end and won 4–3 against us.Keep your heads up, boys. Good luck for the bronze medal match! 🇵🇰🏑💪

I understand that winning and losing are part of the game, but my concern is that Malaysia scored five goals against us. That is a big question mark. We played Pro League matches before the World Series against Korea, then the World Cup, and after the World Cup, before the Asian Games, we played another series against Korea.I understand that we are still far behind the European teams, even compared with some of the top Asian teams, but conceding five goals against Malaysia is not acceptable. Malaysia beat Pakistan 5–4.Hopefully, Pakistan will now face India in the semifinals. Good luck to Pakistan against one of the strongest teams in Asia. 🇵🇰🏑 #Pakistan #Hockey #PakistanHockey #Malaysia #Semifinals #GoodLuckPakistan #GreenShirts #🇵🇰🏑

Pakistan 🇵🇰 beat Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 5–1 in their second match of the Asian Games Honestly, this result is a little surprising to me. These kinds of matches are important for building momentum, improving the goal difference and putting pressure on the opponents in the pool.Pakistan need to continue improving and uplift their game because the tougher challenges are still ahead. Against stronger teams, Pakistan will need to play with a different level of intensity, discipline and tactical approach.Hopefully, the team will continue to grow with every game. Good luck, Pakistan! 🇵🇰🏑💚 #PakistanHockey #AsianGames2026 #GreenShirts #Hockey #PakistanZindabad

Congratulations to our Junior Boys for qualifying for the World Cup, and congratulations to the entire coaching panel as well. 🇵🇰🏑my concern is: why were we unable to qualify for the final? This is definitely a worrying sign. At the junior level, Pakistan has traditionally been a strong Asian side and has often reached the finals.Losing 4–1 to Korea 🇰🇷 in the semifinal was a one-sided defeat, and it highlights areas that need serious attention. Korea’s U21 setup has also been gaining valuable experience, with many of their players having featured in senior-level tours during July–August. We need to work much harder to maintain our position among the top 1–2 teams in Asia. Qualifying for the World Cup is a positive achievement, but we must also focus on competing for titles and consistently reaching finals. Well done, boys! 🇵🇰🏑 A great way to close the World Cup with a win before the Asian Games, finishing 11th overall.I hope the boys have learned a lot from playing at the highest level of world-class hockey. I’m really happy to see Waqar perform so well at the back. He made some excellent saves and stopped several goals; otherwise, South Africa could have won this game easily.Well done, GK Waqar! 👏🧤 You stood strong at the back and saved many crucial balls. Now it’s time for a new team to start a new chapter with the Asian Games. I hope we get to see a Pakistan 🇵🇰 vs India 🇮🇳 final there! Good luck, boys, for the new challenge.Hopefully, Pakistan will work on and correct the major mistakes before the Olympic Qualifiers. 🇵🇰💚🏑 #PakistanHockey #GreenShirts #AsianGames #OlympicQualifiers #Hockey #PakistanVsIndia #TeamPakistan

Pakistan🇵🇰 need to seriously work on their defensive structure and be more proactive from the very start of the game. Once again today, we started in slow motion and allowed the opposition to take control. The referees also seemed to be sleeping from the beginning, which made things even more frustrating.Hopefully, Pakistan can recover and address these issues before the Asian Games. One more thing—knock knock, coaches! I understand that Ali Raza is currently our main goalkeeper, but during the classification matches, why not give the second goalkeeper a chance and allow Ali Raza some much-needed rest and recovery? We need to develop our bench strength as well. And seriously, when we get a penalty corner against New Zealand, why is Sufyan not there most of the time? Is there any solid reason for this? Sufyan is one of our main drag-flick options and has already shown his quality from penalty corners. Coaches, these are genuine questions. Well Done, boys! 🇵🇰 This win is very important for us before the Asian Games. We might face Japan 🇯🇵 or Korea 🇰🇷 in the semifinals.Excellent display from Hammad, Hannan, Rana Waheed up front, while Ali Raza was outstanding at the back. 👏 We need this kind of support from the short-corner defence.we seriously need to work on our defensive structure; otherwise, we could be in trouble.Anyways, good luck, boys, against New Zealand! 🇳🇿🇵🇰 #PakistanHockey #PakistanHockeyTeam #HockeyWorldCup #WorldCup2026 #AsianGames #GreenShirts #TeamPakistan #PakistanZindabad #Hockey #Japan #Korea #NewZealand

Quick review of the Pakistan 🇵🇰 vs Japan 🇯🇵 match. A new challenge awaits in the second stage of the World Cup. Good luck, boys! Give it your all and keep the Pakistan flag flying high. 🇵🇰🏑 #PakistanHockey #PakistanVsJapan #HockeyWorldCup2026 #WorldCup2026 #PakistanHockeyTeam #GreenShirts #KeepTheFlagHigh #GoPakistan #Hockey

I don’t understand why in the dying moments, when we won a PC and Sufyan was on the field, we chose to go for a drill instead of using our main drag-flicker. Seriously, if we had gone with Sufyan, Pakistan could have scored from that PC, made it 5–4 and put even more pressure on the opposition Team so these decisions need to be questioned.Anyway, it was a lovely game of hockey from both sides. 🇵🇰🇮🇳

Pakistan 🇵🇰 draw against Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿but remain alive in the World Cup! Hope is still there for the next stage. England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 beat India 🇮🇳 4–2 in the group match, giving Pakistan a great chance to beat India 🇮🇳 in the final pool match and qualify for the next round. Our boys are capable of producing a surprise in any match. Pakistan🇵🇰 vs Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Match Preview & Key Areas to Improve Pakistan’s second match of the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2026 against Wales is extremely important. After the defeat against England, Pakistan must show a stronger fighting attitude and play with greater confidence and discipline Keep the flag high! 🇵🇰 🏑 #PakistanHockey #GreenShirts #PakistanZindabad #KeepTheFlagHigh 🇵🇰#HockeyWorldCup2026

England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿beat Pakistan🇵🇰 4–1, and honestly, we were lucky that England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿missed several chances. They dominated throughout the match. What really concerns me is the attitude of our players on the field. It looked like we were simply happy to be playing in the World Cup rather than fighting for the result. Our defensive approach seemed focused more on protecting the goal difference than trying to win the match.Pakistan seriously needs to change its mentality and approach against Wales🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. We are in the World Cup, so we must play with confidence, aggression and a winning mindset.Good luck to Pakistan for the next match against Wales. 🇵🇰Hopefully, we can bounce back, play with fighting spirit and grab all 3 points. #PakistanZindabad! 🇵🇰🏑

World Cup this is a huge opportunity for Pakistan to announce their return with a strong performance. 🇵🇰 Here’s my review and prediction for the Pakistan vs. England match before the game.

Captaincy change is not the right decision before the World Cup and Asian Games, in my opinion. If a change was necessary, it should have been made before the final leg of the Pro League.this is not the right time.Anyways, good luck to the new captain. Hopefully, this decision works out well for the team. Best of luck to the boys for the home series against Korea 🇰🇷 and for the upcoming World Cup. Wishing the team great success ahead!
