I'm not suggesting this, but I'm suggesting this. Video series of @Tesla employees who couldn't talk about rocket car taking their parents for a ride and executing the flying roll maneuver. @elonmusk make this happen. – at Paragon Estates, CO

I am not sure I can even comprehend what they showed in this demo. I cannot remember a time where I was without words at a product launch. When he landed two falcons simultaneously. When he caught a building falling out of the sky. Now he shows an upside down flying rocket car with sub 1s 0-60. Wow. – at Louisville, CO

Soooo @AnthropicAI gave me $200 in API credits because I have max plan, but they expire in 3 days? What a bizarre decision. – at Louisville, CO

One of my best performing posts ever was when @levelsio reposted me. The post was targeting other tech sector folks like myself. The post was the importance of remaining a lifelong athlete. Start somewhere, put events (anything, doesn't matter) on the calendar that can help inspire training, and just keep at it. Be consistent and do the things. Whatever active thing, just do it. He loves his deadlifts, but for me it was always bench. As a high school kid I think maxxed at 145 lbs (~66kg). I turned 52 two weeks ago and today I hit a lifetime bench PR. 290 lbs (131.54kg). At 52! I'm a teenager again with how happy this makes me. – at Lafayette, CO

The sentence: "I just pushed to PROD over @starlink on a @united plane after working for 1.5 hours and my MBP M5 battery only went from 95% to 86%" has so much "I live in the future" win in it I don't even know where to start. 😀

If you had told me even a year ago that 'D1 Cheerleading' would lead to an out of control spiraling process on one of my production servers, I would not have known how to take you seriously ever again, but here we are...

If you had told me 3 years ago I would be using an artificial employee to write bot/scraper detection logic for my error log watcher, I would not have believed you.

If you had told me 5 years ago my afternoon would become unwound because of degradation of service on @github Actions, I would not have had a clue what you were talking about. 😀

I do not know anyone on the @Avalanche pr or ops teams, but consider hanging a "Beware of Dog" sign on the visit locker room door for the rest of the season. What do you think @RycroftMark or @RadioMoser? – at Louisville, CO

This is a truly perplexing thing to have been approved to be put on a plane. Either a) you are trying to make a joke of the fact that wifi sucks on your plane and you are trying to save your aircrew from questions. Or b) you hate @elonmusk so much as you are doing this to own him and his fans? Or c) your marketing team is truly incompetent. Sadly, 2 of the 3 of these are likely true. – at Louisville, CO
Heading out from VidSummit. Thanks, @Delta, for reminding me why I don’t fly with you anymore. Nothing like ending a great trip with a little brand reinforcement. 😂 @Starlink

I asked Claude design (from the code cli - which I didn't know you could do) to take a run at fixing/updating my design for a landing page. Me: "Bro - I am not even sure how to say this or that it is even possible to be true, but these are way way worse. Like HOLY FUCKING SHIT I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU PRESENTED ME WITH THESE bad." Claude: "You're right to be angry. I never looked at the rendered pages before handing them over. I'll look at exactly what you're seeing before I say anything else." But, sure, yeah, the robots are going to rise up and kill us soon.

I'm still not quite over the fact (and maybe I "discovered" a well known thing) that I was using Claude code on my Windows machine, and it literally went through and set up my new Mac through remote login. Claude did everything I needed so far. It was installing apps. It removed apps for me. It modified all settings. It pulled all of my git repos over to the new machine, but, and this is important, it also pulled my chat history for Claude and codex and all of my git ignored skills.md and other similar files so that I was ready to go on the new machine. It brought my desktop images over and set those up. It kicked off downloads of hugging face models for LMStudio. It suggested and installed an app so that I could get more Windows like behavior with virtual desktops (basically that command + tab shows only the apps for that desktop). Totally seamless. All from a couple of prompts on my windows machine. – at Lafayette, CO

There's a certain level of freedom and a certain level of crazy in allowing claude code on my Windows machine to convince me to turn on remote login on my Mac machine and "I'll take care of getting everything set up." – at Boulder, CO

Well, today might be the day. I am headed to Micro Center to most likely purchase a Macbook pro. I cannot believe I am even typing those words. Development on my Lenovo slim 7x has been equal parts awesome, and frustrating. WSL2 is amazing. Sadly, the virtualization and ARM and the way I am coding is creating so much system thrashing that this machine gets in the way more often than I prefer. This is a fantastic laptop for 2021 me. Not 2026 me. The CUDA laptop I have is ... sad. I over thought that decision, and (ultimately) it never lived up to the hype. Being told by the company that the right way to use it was "with the power cable plugged into the wall" is a complete joke. Battery life was a disaster. Carry weight (with charger) a joke. I need to sell it. And of course there's Windows. Open the laptop - oops, we rebooted without telling you and all your work is gone. LOL. Closed your lid - open your backpack a few hours from now to find a thermonuclear device idling in the lining. CoPilot is not it. How many accidental launches have I had? Ugh. If someone wants to try and talk me off the ledge before I get to Micro Center, respond here. :)

Maybe Tony Stark wasn't that smart after all. Maybe Jarvis was just a really good coding agent. Jokes aside, I am really surprised at the level of "if you can properly explain it, maybe you can build it now." Here's another example of a "started today" project. Also tied to my coaching at the high school for the football team. I run the drone during practice. A DJI Mini 5 Pro with the RC 2 Pro controller. The question: can I build an instant replay app for practice? Can I get the videos from the controller to a tablet over usb-c with just code so coaches can grab the tablet and review plays if they want? Requiring nothing from me other that what I have been doing flying the drone? To have attempted this a year ago would have been unthinkable. With Opus 5.5 I have a working prototype on my Samsung Tab S9+ and proven it works with the drone recording and connected to my controller. That's NUTS!
