If your HS coach(es) put on organized workouts in the offseason and you are not playing another sport…. I encourage you to take advantage of this quality FREE training/practice. You don’t have to pay for training for it to be of value. If you take lessons, plan those for a time when you are not at your HS training. Then you get a double bonus. It should not be one or the other. Of course I’m talking about players who love the game and are hungry to get better. *** Footnote: not everyone is blessed to have quality coaches who give up their time in the off season to help other. But if you do, take advantage of it and thank them.

Exit meeting: “Coach I thought I’d get more innings” “So did we until other guys out worked you. Remember? It was just a pen. Just a November lift. Just PFPs. You know, “just” the stuff you need to do to be successful.”
