Key said BC ran the same play 16 times and it wasn't until play 14 that they finally got it defended correctly. He said this week they did away with scout teams and had the offense go against the defense off cards.

After a weekend of nonstop frantic discussions and negotiation, Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be played Thursday at 12:30 pm at 17,000-seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, sources told ESPN. The Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers game that night will move back to 8 pm to accommodate the doubleheader, just as the Hawks did for Game 4. This allows a potential Game 7 to remain scheduled for Halloween at Chase Center in San Francisco. All three Finals games in Atlanta have required hurried adjustments to the schedule at State Farm Arena. It took collective efforts from the WNBA, NBA, the Hawks, State Farm Arena, Dream, Valkyries and broadcast partners to figure out the best course of action again. By moving the game earlier in the day, the WNBA avoided a scenario where a potential championship game was played inside the Dream’s home arena, the 3,500 seat Gateway Center. The other option under strong consideration was moving Game 6 to an open date at State Farm Arena on Friday and Game 7 to an open date at Chase Center on Tuesday, November 3.

It’s with great pleasure that I share that the #Falcons are now 17-3 since 2009 (7-0 the last seven games) when wearing their throwbacks. #RedHelmetEnergy 🔴⚡️

From Atlanta Dream spokesperson regarding venue/time of Game 6 (scheduled for Thursday in Atlanta) : "We are waiting to hear from the league if any changes can be made to allow us to play in State Farm Arena. If not, the game will be played in Gateway Center Arena."

If you've lived in Atlanta long enough, you know the difficulty the Dream have had in gaining traction. So for Game 3 to happen the way it did, it felt like something very meaningful had happened. I spoke with wo women @LaChinaRobinson and @NellOnWheels who explained it so well.

Hawks CEO Steve Koonin tells @929TheGame that State Farm Arena has made multiple dates available for a potential WNBA Finals Game Six, but rescheduling that game is solely a league decision. He encouraged fans to “write your congressman” to urge a schedule change.

Atlanta brought the energy…and never let up. The Dream dominated Game 3, beating the Valkyries 97-71 to take a 2-1 lead in the WNBA Finals. Now, they’re two wins away from their first championship. My latest for @AJCsports ⤵️

More history for Angel Reese: She is the youngest player (24 years & 168 days) in WNBA Finals history with three straight double-doubles. Just remarkable.
